Forgive me if this has been addressed in one way or another; otherwise, please add the Modified Code, as the patient can have the advanced directive of "Do not resuscitate" or "Do not intubate." Other facilities would even include Chem code (to the Modified Code), i.e., only drugs would be given. For a more well-rounded handover, could you include discharge planning so that the patient's needs for help when the patient leaves are anticipated, communicated, and followed up with the interdisciplinary team concerned to avoid delays (on discharge)? As they say, discharge planning begins on admission day. I am very proud of you, Alma, that in your first few years in the States, you were able to be on top of the situation, particularly since you have two kids with Autism, and still managed to have the time to vlog your experiences for others to draw inspiration from.

Hi Ma’am. Arrived in OK na po kami in May and living very close to Tulsa. Thank you very much po by answering my concerns and for this vid. Very helpful po. followed the steps and got issued multistate license po in 7 days. Hindi po ako ang principal so hindi na din po ako nag-take ng any English proficiency test. At hindi na din po nirequire. Waived na po kung may license na sa other state.

Hello, nurse Alma! Thank you so much for uploading this video, big help po. Nabigyan po ako ng idea about In-Patient Rehab. Almost similar po pala to where I am assigned right now which is a Hyper-Acute Stroke Unit, may mga problema din sa mobilities most of our patients and need assistance with ADLs and rehabilitaion after maging stable kalagayan nila. Ask ko lang po sana, nabasa ko po kasi sa isang comment mo that you used to work in a Med-Surg Cardiac unit, how was it like working there po? Mahirap po ba? I got accepted in 2 facilities po kasi in the US. One is as an In-Patient Rehab nurse, and sa Cardiac-Tele unit naman po sa isa. I honestly feel worried that I might not be able to handle yung sa Cardiac-Tele kasi sabi nung iba sobrang physically and metally demanding daw and one would really need to have critical thinking skills. Would truly appreciate your insights, ma'am. Maraming salamat po! 🙏❤
