Hii , have you tried the Craft and Flea markets , the one in Left Bank Leeds is fab great quality traders no rubbish , lots of footfall and it's really well advertised .Keep going with the markets it gets better,i find if you do them regularly you seem to get customers coming back looking for you xx

Markets can be funny! You have to try maybe 3 times and also try different areas :) before you write anything off as usually there's like peak selling times usually from October onward is bonkers because of christmas. People do window shop lately I do markets every month now in about 5 locations and some places are prime selling places ( garden centre locations are great) where as some other high street ones are so so. Being outside helps more than indoors to but you have to be ready for the weather. Your stall looks lovely though! Well done! Don't get discouraged ( i know easier said than done) x katie

Heyyy! I’m a marketeer in Leeds from hull and know the market you were at. It is a lovely one but you’re not alone that people in Leeds have been struggling with sales recently. (From what I’ve heard). I’m prioritising end of the month markets atm. Not sure if that would help?

This happened to me at my very first market! Then I went on to sell lots and attend bigger and better markets. It takes time to find ways to engage with market goers and make a connection between them and your art - it gets easier I promise ❤

I've been doing markets for about 10 years now, and I have to be honest, I only do November and December markets now as what I sell is gifty so people don't really have a reason to buy the rest of the year I feel anyway. I'm also super fussy, I only do handmade / art markets. @weewoollywonderfuls asked about getting up and talking to people, and I'm very much on that thought, I always find I make more sales if I stand up, I reallyl want one of those high folding chairs, so I'm standing height without the hurty feet, just need to find an affordable one! haha. I tend to take something to do, so it's not like pouncing on people too x

Oh, i understand your sadness and disapointment. I'm an artist too, and even if i almost never try to sold, i could imagine how you feel. But you know, even if you loose money, we couldn't win everytimes, and we never really loose. You gain a little more customers, more experience, more adventure. LIfe is not a regular line as you know, so sometimes, everything don't go perfectly, but we shouldn't worry about the littles obstacles on our path. Maybe next time, you would have more sucess, it's not the end. Don't let this little part of your life, make you believe that your art is not great enough. My ex-husband, was making wonderful jewelry (i don't say that because he was my husband, but his art was really brillant), but he didn't sold a lot sometimes. He just took every market of thing like a opportunity to grow up a little more. So don't worry, really, i hope you would be fine. But don't let that alter your trust in yourself and your art. If i would be here, i would probably have buy something to you, because your art is lovely. Please, don't be sad, all that matters the most is if your art MAKES YOU HAPPY. ME i love to draw and create, and nothing will affect me about it, because i know my value.

That’s a pretty little thing! 👍🏻 That free motion presser foot isn’t really helpful when straight stitching. Also feed dogs are down when free form stitching, but up when straight stitching. If you try this all out your arms (and projects) will be so happy, but please don’t forget your lovely Freeform stitching!!!! ❤

Thanks for the fast response, last question, did you experience any holds of your money? The guys from PayPal had me to do an payment to my business account usin a regular credit card, it went through, I got exited, i did hang up ready to jump in and few minutes later I got an email from PayPal saying that my money wll be on hold for 21 days, looking on TH-cam some guys got the same problem even up to 180 days, did you experienced such a thing? Thanks again

How reliable is on the go and also let me ask you, is this guy including PCI compliance with it or you have to pay it separately, I asked you because I have QuickBooks and the reader and after 3 months this people tell me that I have to pay a company to be PCI compliance, that pissed me off because it is another $16 a month just for that. Thanks for you experience it is very valuable for me because I am planning to move, please let me know.
