Damn that looks good, I’m glad you made the video as I was looking at the same color👏👏👏
I liked the video but I think the music was a bit too loud over your voice
Nice video, bit hard to hear you over the BGM tho.
Hi. Do the end caps come out to allow Bar Plugs like 45NRTH to hold Pogies on?
A pretty good honest assessment of Swinley Forest. Although I think one or two bits of the Blue Route are OK. It's where I ride my XC bike and I thinks that's what Swinley it's best for. Off piste a trail bike is the most you'll need.
Nice and helpful review! Just picked up my 2020 Slash yesterday for a killer deal! Ride safe and stay healthy Through these times my fellow mtb’er!
Nice one mate I’m going there today 👊🏻
Some fun looking tracks, second one looks good! I usually ride around the Nagshead area, what area are these? Cheers
Hey man, thanks for the video. I’m 6ft and I currently ride a NS decade. I loved the decade because it was small and easy to spin, but I felt cramped with bars spins. I heard the size large would be a good fit for me, but I’m concerned the long reach would make it less “poppy” and playful. Should I size down or do you think the large frame is playful?
I have a mediam and I am 5 foot 3 meaning that it’s big on me but it’s still really poppy
nice video mate. i went a while back with little to no experience definitely going to have to have another visit now! keep up the good work.
I broke my wrist riding my hardtail down this
Shame none of it is beginner friendly considering it’s my local 😩 I wouldn’t say I’m a total noob but when everyone says how gnarly it is puts me off going 😂
Does it come with boost hubs (does it sound like a hornets nest when you stop spinning the cranks)
Thomas Young when you say boost hub I can assume you’re referring to 148 spacing? (which is boost) then no. As for a loud freehub then yes it’s reasonable loud, similar to a hope hub I’d say.
Trail Rips okay thanks
The main track used to be a lot wider
Nice clean run!
I wish that I could ride there but my bike Can t be taken there after am not allowed
Super steep and technical at bottom! Great riding
William Cheers! 🤘🏻👍🏻
Size ??
Diego Saltos Holguin hi it’s a size large 🤘🏻
Trail Rips how tall are you?
Joey Hutson 6ft buddy
Trail Rips alright thanks. gonna cop me one of these soon
Joey Hutson be sure you choose a good quality bike for the right price cause this commencal just has a mintou circus expert fork and a tektro brake while you can find dirt jumpers for example a Rose The Bruce 2 with a rockshox dj pike and a SRAM level 160 brake. Other examples of good price/quality bikes are: Scott Voltage YZ 0.1, Canyon Stitched 360 pro. I don’t say this is a bad bike but if you look at a Rose The Bruce 1 with the same fork and same quality brakes and stuff you don’t have to pay €1200 but just €800...
That park looks incredible! There is a local one around me but everything is wood so it feels more like a skate park than a bike park. Cool video man
You should have gone with a local because the off-piste stuff is a lot more progressive, but nice video!
What if you don’t know a local, any indication of where to find it? Thanks
@@FortySomethingRider calm down i wasnt trying to be rude i was just saying the off piste is more progressive
banan6a did not think you were rude at all, I was there yesterday and could not really get out of the marked trails. Loads of areas closed too, felt like a missed opportunity
How big is not too big?
Where is the bit with all the berms??
red 20 and babymaker
@@Fienday where’s babymaker
@@samskelton9908 at red 20 i think, dont ride that much anymore. it's at the top of the tall hill. look on the app trailforks or something, its to the right of where red 20 is, it has two tabletop jumps and leads back to red 20
Wanted to have a crack at this at the weekend but the initial drop off of the board walk scared me off. Ended up doing Wibbly Wobbly instead.
Hi, what camera setup did use for this video please?
Hi Stacy Deem I use a GoPro hero 5 session as it’s nice and small with the chest mount 👍🏻
good run 👍
Loved riding that trail for the first time the other day. I found the 2 gap / drop things quite big towards the end. Cased the second one.
How big are those drops at the end
richard wager not that big buddy. The ground was like peanut butter that day but in the dry you just flow over them.
Trail Rips cheers, we’re going in two weeks 😎 think this will be on the list this time.
How much is it to ride there for a day
Moto Head £7.00 a day or you can get an annual pass
Moto head £8 now
Nice😎
What do I use in your opinion?
Nice vid 🤙
Cool video 👍
