“The world is really big but in the same way, really small”. Thats what i thought after hearing all the similar words 🤯
That's exactly what we thought as well! Have you watched the other videos in this series? 🔥
😮😮😮😮😮 the language has so many similarities, like mata telinga and langit 😮😮😮 I like what Sam Pilisi says
🔥🔥 There's more than just similar languages! So much more to uncover! We're in the midst of compiling the other parts of the interviews. Stay tuned!
I see similarity in all that they say, the community is a family, help each other, love each other, share with each other, and do things together. ❤
That's the beauty in living as a collective - something that we can all benefit from in these modern times.
Thanks for sharing this with me, POH!
Glad you enjoyed it! New episode tonight!
Looking forward to watching the whole series! Keep it up!
Thank you! It's been a great journey learning so far, 15 more episodes, every Monday!
I've recently grew interest in learning about Indigenous people. I am Indigenous Dusun-Rungus from Sabah (prev. Known as North Borneo), but I learnt to appreciate my roots from learning about Torres Strait Islander history as a unit in my degree. And I'm so happy I was recommended this video, looking forward for the next episode!🥰
Thank you for sharing your thoughts. This means a lot to us! I do hope one day we are able to work with your tribe. I have not heard of Dusun Rungus before, can you elaborate a little bit?
@@_theculturecapital I hope so too! Basically in Sabah, we have more than 33 tribes and they collectively call it KDMR (Kadazan, Dusun, Murut, Rungus) people. My dad is Dusun, and mom is Rungus (They both have different mother tongue 😭). These two ethnics came from different regions of Sabah. The cultural celebration we have is almost similar with the Sarawakian, which is Kaamatan, a day before Gawai. We used to make offerings to the ancestors but these days because most of KDMR are Christians and Muslims, the state still make a huge celebration but it is to honour our ancestors customs instead.
I love how different people from different country and race talk about the core value that the community hold on to. ❤ look forward to know more!
There are 15 more episodes, one more out tomorrow Monday at 6:30PM!
Look forward to watch the rest of it!
Congratulations on the release! Looking forward to more of these!
Thank you! It's been a great effort all around! New episodes out every Monday 630PM. 15 more episodes to go!
Exciting
Bless!
