I'm so impressed. A friend, who knows I went to Amanful Roman Catholic Boys School, sent this to me. I was there in the 60s and I know all the stuff written by the previous contributor. Who can forget Master McCarthy and spelling B. I went to Adisco from Amanful, and later became a Physician Specialist and Researcher. I have always held high the name of ARCBS and I am so proud the school is 100 years old. The classroom looks good. Thanks to all the teachers of ARCMBS for a job well done.

In the 60s education was totally free, EXERCISE and TEXTBOOKS, Medical care, VACCINATIONS was also free until these criminals running Ghana today AKUFFO ADDO's family and connivers J B DANQUAH etc connived with the CIA and Ghana military led by KOTOKA, AFRIFA to overthrow Kwame NKRUMAH.....LT. SAMUEL ARTHUR( A FANTE SOLDIER) also MFANTSIPIM old boy and his friend LT MOSES YEBOAH staged a counter coup to bring NKRUMAH back to power, they killed KOTOKA in the process but the coup was unsuccessful, they were shot dead by FIRING SQUAD. Ghana's destruction started immediately after that when the military RIGGED the elections in 1969 for for thier connivers the PROGRESS PARTY(Now NPP) led by DR K A BUSIA who also attended MFANTSIPIM, he cancelled FREE EDUCATION, deported NIGERIANS and Ghana became a failed state. Prices started going up, shortages of foodstuff and PROVISIONS were rampant, basic services were stopped, factories stopped working. During NKRUMAHS time Companies use to go to Secondary schools to give jobs, my elder brothers all had work during the long holidays which we use to call LONG TERMS. Look at Ghana today with NPP same as in 1969. I know you are young that is why I gave you a short history. I know you work for ASAASE RADIO owned by NPP, look at where Ghana is today since 2017, we are a failed state with criminals looting our resources. Look at RIVER PRA, who is allowing GALAMSEY? WHITE AMERICANS are laughing at Ghana today, worst off our president. ✴I have been an ENGINEER for years in the United States. I am shocked to see MY ELEMENTARY SCHOOL still exist and looking good, I guess you said it was rebuilt. In the 60s it was a Flat single long building with MASTER McCARTHY as the HEADMASTER. This hall you are speaking from looks similar to where we use to do SPELLING B every Tuesday. Where is AMSCO OLD BOYS ASSOCIATION? do they have a website? As much as I appreciate the presence of OTUMFUO in Cape Coast, I feel we the OGUAFO and MFANTSEFO need to do a little bit more to raise our PARAMOUNT CHIEF OSABARIMA to the highs of highs, he deserves RESPECT when he travels anywhere in Ghana or abroad and not become subservient to any other chief in Ghana. I hope people do not get it wrong that the Ashanti chief is more powerful than our OSABARIMA, we the FANTES do not accept that. He is a very simple man but needs his own SECURITY, ENTOURAGE VEHICLES also I hope he already has them. His present PALACE is very beautiful as compared to the old one but needs to be maintained at TOP NOTCH, it use to belong to PWD when I was growing up. The government should SELL this BEACH LAND to DEVELOPERS to develop it for homes or Hotels to create jobs. No amount of cleaning will change the type of people who live in that area. By next year this place will be as filthy as it looks today. What is the benefit of having dirty filthy people with no conscience living near a prime property? NOTHING BENEFICIAL but destroying and hindering its development? For hundreds of years, we have allowed FILTHY DIRTY FISHERMEN and their families to take over our beaches and destroyed them for the sake of fishing. Everywhere in the world the BEACH LAND is so PRIME it generates income for the country and the people living near it. This same beach was cleaned a couple of months ago why is it filthy again? Why is it that in CAPE COAST Ghana we destroy the beaches? Now you are filling the land with SAND full of FILTH and you are claiming you are doing a good job? are we that stupid? nh3n Oguafo yegyim paa...........
