Unpopular opinion, but I disliked how Cynthia Erivo sang this in the film. It just felt like she took all the life out of it. This is what I was expecting in the film.

the joke that began with "I don't know how to count this part,......" was masterful. it had so many meta elements that it was a technical feat of humor. i love it.

Jeremy has a devoted fanbase but I feel like Betsy does not get enough love - she has such great comedic timing and acting chops and can belt just about anything - super versatile and just a fabulous performer

I just saw her do a comedy show where she sang the Wizard and I from the musical Wicket. Was jaw dropping. Her range is unbelievable. This song is relatively flat in it's orchestration. Look her up on TH-cam if you want to be blown away.
