The song "Anniversary Song" is a song that was made famous in the US by the singer Al Jolson, but it's history is much deeper. The song was supposedly a Romanian war march, but later was adapted France as "Danube", or also "Les Flots du Danube". This song was originally a waltz, but Django re-adapted it as a swing tune in 1947. This was recorded in Paris.
