BJJ 6 week beginners course: Week 4- Class 2- Defending and escaping mount
In this week's session we work our mount escapes and defense.
Escaping grapevines and keeping our partner in a low mount so we can utilise our hips for escapes. Make sure to keep your arms tight and protect your neck.
We work our bridge and roll escape for when our partner is overcommitted to one side and we trap their post.
We also worked our elbow escape allowing us to scrape the leg and build to our half guard then ideally our closed guard!
