Aap mere ko 516,1188,2148 ka long division bataiye
HCF is 12. Find HCF of first two numbers, now find HCF of third number and answer of first two numbers.
Here is another proof which I think is simpler. Now √ p + √ q and √ p - √ q are either both rational or both irrational for their product is p-q. If they are both rational then their difference would be rational too. But their difference is 2√ q hence √ p + √ q and √ p - √ q are both irrational.
