WJ Knuckle Swap
This is an updated version of a previous video.
I haven't seen very many "after" swap videos for the WJ knuckle swap on a TJ. This one was recorded at Hot Springs ORV.
Details: Knuckles from eBay salvage yard. I wanted OEM. 04' WJ. Brakes, calipers, rotors, hubs from O'Reilly's. One ton Tie rod ends from Part's Mike out of California.
The 1/4" wall DOM tubing from a friend that had access to a fab shop, cut and threaded in order to directly screw in TRE's.
NO stabilizer! Not needed drives like a dream without one! Since the swap I've driven it from NE Arkansas to Sedona AZ, then to Moab UT, then back home (4k mile round trip), a trip to Hidden Falls and back, and two Trips to SMORR and 8 hour trip to Junction City KS.
I Love this upgrade! Wasn't an easy one to do but SO worth it!

Jeep Gladiator drops front passenger wheel in a hole and almost rolls... Checking out a new privately owned off road park mostly set up for ATV's but now adding some Jeep trails. The owner told us about an area that no jeeps have made it into yet so we had to go check it out. 4XE on 40's TJ on 35's (Micro-Jeep) TJ on 35's with a 5.3. Just us having some fun going down into a creek, getting trapped, so then up out of the creek, up a hill through some tight trees. Enjoy.

What about that jeep is micro?
It's actually a 1/43 scale with a super realistic background.
When I first got it, bone stock, I was parked in between some 4 door Jeeps with 37" and 40" tires, I was on 30's, and not many TJ's in our group... so... "Micro-Jeep".
@MrRickstar321 no dude. There is actually a class of vehicles called micro. You do not have one. Misleading title for views it is....

I have more in here... one with a lot of deep water crossing in the Ozarks... and working on a couple from Hidden Falls TX and Land Between the Lakes KY.

lol... I don't do much right... but I at least try to do that right...
I'm going through this battle right now with my 2005 LJ. On the four rear shock top bolts, the score right now is 1 out, 1 broke off and 2 with rounded off heads. I managed to get one shock off by prying and wiggling the shock mount out from under the rounded off bolt head. Today is try to do the same with the other side. Fun and games in Jeep World.
Nothing like a 30 minute job turning into a 3-4 hour battle of wills... that's for sure.

I've been using it for a year under my Vstar 1100 (which is lowered) and my Custom Build to wash, wax, and do minor repairs and maintenance... I've never had it try to fly up on me... :-)... but I will still get a regular lift... but for now this works awesome!
