The first time I did a journal with TWO signatures, I did the same thing and I know I've done it since then, but you're right, it is fixable. Don't know how I missed these last two videos, but I have been really busy and very much out of my routine lately. You look so good and you remind me of my granddaughter, Samantha. Something in the eyes and cheekbones, I think! I've made a couple of starts of journals and just making more ephemera lately. I do love the stenciling accents on the pages...no bulk and always looks classy! 😉❤❤❤

I love watching others pick out papers for their journals and then their placement. I'm trying to be more versatile in picking things out, using papers I might not of thought of. I have even thought about reorganizing my paper supplies into basic bundles of size and variety instead of keeping the like items together. I can always add to it and subtract a paper that won't work. Anyway, I might give it a go when I get some time. I've been doing little projects, like fussy cutting, snippet rolls, masterboard collages and small ephemera. You are the master of masculine journals! No one else I've seen does them. I'm looking forward to this one. Take care!

Good morning! You covered a lot in very little time, but all of it was interesting. Most impressed with the recycled bracelets and the earrings were fabulous. I have some of the same jewelry making supplies and my mother in law gave me a lot of her costume jewelry. I always say I'm going to do something with that jewelry, but have used very little of it. Currently, still working on a baby girl baby book and she is due in May so I've got to step it up. I've been busy with taxes, two Easter services and a few other projects. Also, my sister and I are planning a trip to Arkansas, Tennessee, Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana and back to Texas later this month and into the next. We're visiting our other sister, a couple of my daughters, both her daughters and a niece in a whirlwind trip. Thanks for posting 😃

Oh my goodness, girl! 12 journals in a month sounds daunting to me, but I'm a slowpoke crafter. I've turned my attention to organization and am inspired by your new craft room. I'm in a corner of my bedroom and have so much stuff to sort through. I initially kept everything close by, but I've ordered some more storage containers and will move some of this stuff out (clearly marked of course) to another area. My current mess is inhibiting my creativity and productivity. I am using one space for bible study/journalling, genealogy research, bill paying and junk journalling. I also keep books for a small non-profit cowboy church ministry that has a revival once a year and do the bulletins for my regular church. Anyway, I am very interested in your folios. I love these journals/folios...Inspiration came from Pam from the Paper Outpost...I should shout her out...anyway, I really try to make sure my desk is "mostly" organized before I go to bed. My desk doubles as my work desk too, so I need it neat for when I log on in the mornings. Getting organized is half the battle, plus my style is every changing, so I purge regularly or give away stuff that I know I will not use. I used to be like, "save everything!" but I don't have room...I have become a bit picky of the items I save now. I haven't saved food boxes in a while since I have all these hanging folder files that are about the same thickness. Fabric and paper snippet rolls are great for your small scraps and then you have ready-made items for your journals. “Create. Not for the money. Not for the fame. Not for the recognition. love the little notebook you gave me! I have two really thick journals for years 2021 and 2022, If I keep that up I won't have any storage left. You'll be surprised at how much "older" stuff you'll use. I forgot all the stuff I had until I did the "no buy year"... I painted, I dyed, I used most of the magazine pics I had saved. I made tags out of old book pages to make room for more storage... and yes, working smarter not harder.

I'm very impressed with Taperlogy! Great unboxing and loads of good stuff. I almost missed this post b/c I was busy the last 2 days and it was way down on my notifications. I think we are all about to settle down after the holidays and eye surgeries for which I now have 20/20 both eyes and was able to pass my eye test and get my drivers license renewed. WooHoo! My last check up was yesterday. I got a diamond painting kit and a calligraphy set for my birthday. I finished the diamond painting in 5 days and tried the calligraphy proving to myself that it's going to take loads of practice. And I've gone one week, no craft purchases! only 51 weeks to go! LOL! Glad to see your post!

20/20 in both eyes, amazing...I have to go in for a check up, I think I need glasses all the time now. We will be practicing calligraphy together! Looking through beginner calligraphy TH-cam channels to help me out. Also, I'll try not to rub it in on the purchases of journaling stuff...hey, you can live that part through me so you won't buy stuff...LOL

What a sweet daughter! You are going to have so much fun with those books. I have a couple of the ones you already had, but hadn't seen the ones she gave you. I have an older Bible journalling book and it had fantastic ideas from a multitude of journallers and the art supplies/techniques they used. Happy New Year to you and your family!

Wow, I was just wondering what you'd been doing, so I found you and yes, you've been busy! Thank you so much for the Christmas card. I didn't get any out this year (I'm so bad), but with the surgeries on the eyes, I just couldn't manage it. Thankfully, they are done and a complete success. I'm having to wear cheaters for close work, but hey, I have been in glasses since I was in grade school, so no biggy. I have been rearranging my craft area for the past 2 days, which is just a corner in my bedroom and have decided to quit saving packaging and bags, cereal boxes and other papers, until I get low, because it was getting out of control. And I'm am going to do my level best to not buy anything next year. You have really been an inspiration! My husband did get me the embossing/die cut machine I wanted for my birthday, so I feel I'm set for at least a year. Wishing you and yours a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! 😁🎅🥳

I am so glad your eye surgeries were a success! Just in time for Christmas too. I went a few years without giving out Christmas cards but since getting back into playing with paper it just felt right to get back into using the post office again. You'll be amazed on how much money you can save by not buying stuff. Plus, it makes you a bit pickier on items...you gotta love it, and not just buy on impulse. Which embossing/die cut machine did your husband gift you? I am looking for one of those too. Merry Christmas!

What a cute set! I bought a few from 2021 and 2022, but missed that one. They offer great stuff you don't see everywhere. Love the garden theme! Glad you are feeling better! I'm getting the right eye cataract surgery this afternoon and once it heals, I'll be back to crafting. I did do a collage masterboard yesterday that turned out fairly well, I think. So happy you sold a couple of journals. Don't work too hard!

Hi Laura....I got home Saturday, two days of rest, then cataract surgery on one eye and preparing for the other mid-December. My vision is perfect in my new eye, but I'm still going to need readers. They won't give them to me until after the other surgery, so my old eye and new eye together make crafting near impossible, lol! The trip was fantastic. My daughters had all kinds of crafting goodies for me from stuff they didn't want anymore. One daughter took me to her favorite consignment store and I got all kinds of goodies from the crafting and book aisles. I think I'll pull a Laura and not buy anything new for a year! My crafting space is getting out of control. Your tags are beautiful and I really love the vintage look! These would be great for any gift giving occasion.

Oh my and I’ve only been down the past week with a super duper cold/flu (that’s why no videos). At least I have my vision but sadly no strength to move around a lot. I’m so glad to hear that you had such a good time with your family. You should try the no buy year, it helps the bank account grow… lol. I saved enough this year for a generous Christmas gift giving year. Wish me luck on the craft show tomorrow.

@@alifeobserved1890 Good Luck! Bon Chance! and all that razz! I had to get a new printer, the other fizzled out with broken sprockets. But hopefully that will be my last purchase before 1/1, except for ink and paper. I design and print the bulletins for church so I'll need to keep up with the ink and paper. I hope you are feeling better soon.
