My first time having to kick tenants out
In this video, I share my experience renting to a family of four that grew to five. Initially, they were great tenants, paying on time for the first four months. However, their situation changed when they went through a series of struggles, leading to fragmented and late payments.
As they fell over two months behind, I offered them a chance to stay if they could come up with a bit of money, but they couldn’t manage it, so I had to ask them to leave. I reflect on the lessons learned about addressing payment issues earlier and balancing compassion with being a responsible landlord.

AH, THAT'S MINOR DAMAGE.. You need to change out the whole patio door. Thats your job to clean the furnish it your investment. The for you to ask them to change out your furnish were you giving them a break on their lease? if not no I wouldn't either.It cost money. you havent pained the house in quite sometime
I don’t think it should be my job to go in there and clean anything. It’s the tenants job to maintain a clean living environment for themselves. And yes, I’m sure I said something about changing the patio door in the video. Also, I haven’t painted the house in 2 years.. they had an art fest with the walls.

I appreciate it. I’ve seen much worse too, but this is the worst I’ve had to deal with this so far. At some point I might have to deal with worse. I hope I don’t, but I understand it’s a reality that could end up experiencing at some point.

This guy considers that a "huge mess." 🙄😵💫Has he ever seen a huge mess?? LOL Yeah the screws need to come out, but those hooks look like the easy off kind, so he only needs a razor blade at most. Boy I wouldn't want to rent from this guy!! Had he done proper caulking before, he wouldn't need to do it now LOL And they didn't remove all the window sill dust?? Is this guy for real? And he wants our sympathy!! Most landlords would be thrilled to get an apartment back in this shape! PS if there was "water intrusion" it was his improper maintenance. That is his responsibility, not the tenants. Yeah the stuff should have been gone, but he himself said he can make money by selling it (plus the fool can now rent it furnished, which usually goes for more money). OH the aggravation he is going through to earn money every month. SERIOUSLY?? BTW I grew up in a real estate family & my Aunt managed property. She would be laughing uncontrollably at this video. OH the true nightmares she dealt with!
I considered this a huge mess until I went into my other property after the other tenants cleared out lol. I guess we’re all raised different 🤷🏽♂️. But im definitely not looking for sympathy. PS. The water intrusion was from hurricane Ian in 2022, 1 week after moving in. Improper maintenance from the previous owners that was covered up for the inspection. There was no water intrusion while she was living there.
