GGs 4 (+1) Low-Man Vindi Kill
Over the most recent draft week, the guilds on p1999-Green decided to try a low man Vindi challenge. Each guild pays into a pot and gets one day of the week where all Vindi spawns are exclusively theirs. Whoever kills it with the fewest folks on the encounter log wins the pot.
In this video, you'll see the strategy that Good Guys went about a 4(+1) kill of Vindi. By 4(+1), I mean that there were 4 players who were directly engaged with Vindi on the encounter log, but there was a 5th player out-of-zone and not on the encounter log that provided additional support for our wizard. Although this 5th player could have been replaced by consumables, we opted to add the 5th to avoid wasting a ton of cash on wort potions and reapers.
Hope you enjoy!

Project 1999 Swim Skill Up Testing
มุมมอง 1.5K9 ปีที่แล้ว
Warning: There is no reason to watch this video other than to confirm methods and results. The result is that you cannot afk swim into a wall and still gain skill ups. This is an incredibly boring video I threw together. The point is to test whether a player can set autorun in water to swim down into a wall to get skill ups in Swimming. In other words, can you level up swimming using auto-run, ...

what icon set is that in duxa?
Very detailed explanation. Just got this video recommended to me as I'm planning on doing some HS content for quarm. Mind if I plug your channel?
Reddit...you answered my question. Did you turn it the guild note at the beginning or avoid the faction issue?
New fan here. Loving your video. How can I see the written guide?
Howdy! Just Google sesserdrix and P1999 wiki and you'll see it. On my phone, so I don't have a link.
@@sesserdrix8007 Thank you! 🍺
Holy shit! Welcome back!
Where are the TGs? How was it pulled? Clearly more than just 4 were needed to pull/rip do tgs?
From what I understand, the challenge was just for Vindi, so guilds were allowed to clear the path and get rid of everything else but Vindi prior to the FTE of the kill.
Come back Sess! You're an EQ legend.
Lol I'm not a legend, just a middling necro who wanted to share some info with others getting started. :) Also I am playing again! Been working on my Green version of Sesserdrix.
Should give quarm a try too! Very fun there.
@@Avenollpaints I did for a bit, but it just wasn't for me. I love stuff like legacy items continuing to drop as no drop pieces, as I don't feel people who get into EQ later than others should be disadvantaged, but the heightened drop chance just sorta kills the joy I get out of building up a character in RPGs. It's not for me, but I'm happy it's there for folks who love it!
Thank you for your Iksar Necro guide. Without you, I would've kept dying and gone through a terrible grind. Thank you for helping us newbies out on P99
what is weapon on megachads right hand?
Started a new necro on a pop locked server. I followed this guide on p99 and made it to lvl 50ish and COMPLETELY forgot where to go at lower levels. Thanks man.
Next round: Plane of Sky
Welcome back. I missed you...
Creative and funny - love it! What was the reason for hitting levitate right before take off, rather than just pre-casting it? Does it make a difference?
Howdy! So it was actually a 2 person launch team: Megachad there was using a Breezeboot's Frigid Gnasher (wiki.project1999.com/Breezeboot%27s_Frigid_Gnasher) which has a 10 second cast time knockback. Asos was casting Gravity Flux (wiki.project1999.com/Gravity_Flux) which is a 5.9 second cast time knockup. Each contestant had to say "READY" to trigger the BFG cast then "LAUNCH" to trigger the Gravity Flux. The goal was to launch yourself into the air and then be hit by the BFG at just the right time to get the best possible arc. The very last launch in the video is the one I did. You can see the grav flux land, launch me into the air, then the BFG hit me near the highest point launching me along.
wait who are you on green? thanks for posting a video
Sesserdrix, of course!
this is great
yeah but how do you get there
Easily one of the most comprehensive and detailed guides I’ve ever read. You really explained necros to the point where a complete newbie can understand their intricacies. Thanks, Sess!
To all the meditating people on the dock I trained Lockjaw, sand giants and spectors onto back in 1999-2005-ish. I apologize. ... ... ... Just kidding. It was fun. ;)
New to p99, 2 months how do you move up in water without looking up? Ty

Sesserdrix is a Necromancer Legend!
you can get well in your 19 20, just go downstairs and never ruin your burnay faction (never touch thick boned skelly! it kills your faction). Drop down all the way, there you have tons of high lvl skellies easy. Skellys aren't social, makes pulling easy ...
Hey Utenayr, err Sesserdrix 😉 Starting a Necro on p99 green and watching all your vids. Lots of old BDA folks have come back together on green. Just wanted to say I appreciate your vids and miss ya bud. - Whackin
What robe is that?
If I remember correctly, that's the Manna Robe.
@@sesserdrix8007 thanks! Also, what are your opinions on Permafrost Bear Pits from 59-60 if HS is camped?
@@woahhbro2906 It has been a long time since I've played, so I don't really remember. I think I just stayed away from Bear Pits because it's one of the few really great solo camp spots for druids and shamans at late game, while HS is so much better for necromancers. I didn't want to drive traffic over one of the few places those other classes can go with their anti-animal spells.
@@sesserdrix8007 Good point. It's hard to beat Undead charming. I suppose that zone ZEM just looks too good, but the undead charming probably makes up for it.
I owe a ton to this dude for helping me with my Necro. Thanks bud!
Did you ever do a hide for 20+ to follow this one?
5:09 key to victory. Janky = death.
I think i got my necro banned last night. RIP Zissirdrix.
Hahaha really? Ooof.
@@sesserdrix8007 yeah... I was playing dirty. Like only a necro can.
Great video again I’m not quite to this level but look forward to the camp.
Enjoyed your video. Starting a necro on p99 blue.
You still have your account? If your willing I’d love to take your unused items off you!
You still have your account I’d love to use your dropablrs on my account!
Nice guide this helped me out! Do you still play!?
Glad it helped! I don't play anymore, no. I stopped playing around 2015. These days I spend most of my gaming time with Dungeons and Dragons. :D
My only issues so far are having issues banking and vending
how do you do your UI? mines so cluttered 😔
Was BDA on Blue. Have you ran on green at all?
Love the series and your online text guide. Just started a new necro on blue, first time player! Having a blast.
Thank you for this guide! It took almost two years from making my first guy (a necro, of course!) to hit 55, but I zoned into HS for the first time last night! Will check out basement shortly.
Can I ask what robe that is? Edit: Found it, Manna Robe!
Manna Robe! My favorite necro robe! If you mix it with the shissar seance staff and holgresh beads, you can do a canni dance like Shaman and generate a good chunk of extra mana.
I know this video is pretty old now, but just wanted to say your p99 guide helped me a ton with leveling my iksar necro for the release of kunark on green. cheers mate.
Same. Taught me the game in 2015.
I did it today on my lvl 18 necro on p99 green (naked). Why do you start at lvl 24 ? I dont get it. Thanks for your guide, it is great 👍
eee vee ak.....a vee ak
Your guides are extremely helpful, thank you for the contribution. However, it is not true that the Aviaks will con "indifferent" to all races or classes; I'm not sure if you meant to imply that or not. For example, a gnome necro will con "dubious" to Aviaks. So the vendor at the top will also not sell to those who con poorly.
Heyas was BDA on blue! miss ya and great vids.
I always go to kurns at level 9, mobs on the first floor are 12 and are yellow con. Can stay there until ~22 killing shit in the basement while getting your glowing skull and IBC to sell.
Nice video, if you were still doing these, I'd have suggested test copy your necro over to test and then you'd find pretty much any and all camps open.
The bit where you point out how the aviaks are indifferent I noticed something whilst doing quite a bit of leveling on various aviaks in the south karana and lake rathe areas, what I came to conclude was on my Iksar characters (Necro/Monk/Shaman) the aviaks were always indifferent, however on an Ogre Shaman they were KoS I believe. I vividly remember meditating and sitting down and getting jumped by one of these guys, because sitting and medding automatically makes you appear as a level 1 character thus increasing aggro radius by a wide margin.
This dude can write a guide. GJ man Great video
