A tribute to the great Alessandro Cortini. My first public synth performance, as part of the third year Bachelor of Music concert series at Western Sydney University. This was an interpretation of two pieces of music by Alessandro Cortini, using a Make Noise shared system and a handful of other Eurorack modules.
Oooooow!! That's all I can say..... Envious LABIS.😮😮😮
Hi!!! 👋👋👋 Randomly fell here and......my goodness! I like your sound, very much! Love on a real train convinced me to subscribe immediately!!!! Yes,you are one of those who deserve thousands of likes and views!!! Keep making good music!!! LABISMUSIC
Wow! You’ve added some own personality to it. Love it!
GREAT!!!! Beautiful performance . You see, modular music, appreciates melody.....I love it.
Synth Classica - definitely!
Really lovely
great work!
He's amazing. I love his Scappa track
Yeah Jamie, it’s a amazing cover, great work and thanx for sharing🖤! Greetings 🖖☺️
NIce saturated sound. Hard to beat the large format modular for this type of thing. A gem.
This is really amazing work.
Man. How did I only now see this. Amazing!
Super beautiful and deep feeling. Amazing synth. I love the original. This is done with passion. Love it!
"Real" musicians often have no comprehension of the work that goes into this. The fact that much of it is programmed should not lessen the accomplishment. The result is what matters. Especially when it's this freakin awesome.
Quichotte 1 and 2 next? ;-)
Really nice 👌
Very nice! Probably my favorite Cortini track. I also got into making AC cover versions lately, but so far Verde was too hard for me to figure out... maybe one day ;-)
Beautiful stuff
Thank you!
Lovely work on this Jamie !
Thank you :D
This sounds soo cool and the effects are awesome !!
Excellent hands-on performance! Really enjoying this - thanks
beautiful
I must admit, I'm not that systematic as you obviously are. Your preparations must have taken more than a week of hard work, not counting the rehearsals. Excellent hard work!
Thank you! It certainly did, haha
Wow!!! And how do you do it? It is amazing! I think that this preparation took a lot of time. But it was worth it! I wish you creative success and new cool music!
Thank you so much for your kind words! It's difficult enough making one track with modular gear, but generating sounds to make four distinct songs took a lot of work.
Great Performance, Also a great TD Fan !!
Thank you!
First Class Sound. My mentors....the old members of TD
I’m glad you enjoyed it!
Thoroughly enjoying this! Your hard work on this is appreciated.
Thank you for your kind words!
Thanks I enjoyed this.
Thank you!
I also the the QU16 mixer. The FX are really good. No more need for racks of fx when they are built right into the desk. The scene recall is wonderful and perfect for setups like this. Love the music.
I totally agree! It makes life so much easier and sounds fantastic.
Extraordinary - this sort of music is much harder to re-create and reproduce in a live performance than it is to create it in the first place. Genius.
Thank you so much! It took an awful lot of work. I’m glad you enjoyed it :)
Well done..!! This is pure love for my ears.. As a TD fan i can only love this
Thank you so much!
🤘
Nicely done Jamie... is there a longer version of this ?
Thank you! Unfortunately no, I only had a short slot in a very diverse student concert
Sounds really well. I'm curious about your patch. Can you share some details, please?
Thanks for the comment! I'm using mostly a Shared System, minus the Wogglebug. I have a MI Marbles to handle all the random notes in the melody, as well as random cv's into the Morphagene to mangle the radio samples. The bass and melody are coming out of the DPO, with the bass being played on a Pressure Points. In addition, I'm using a few Intellijel modules - the harmony voice is a Dixie II+, the melody is being transposed by a Triatt and I'm using a uScale to quantize the Pressure Points' cv's. The sequences are coming from a Rene. I'm using Maths as a slew limiter as described in the manual.
