Frankel is often touted as a super horse, which indeed he was. But so was Sea The Stars. Here he just brushed them aside and won very easily, What a brilliant racehorse he was.

This argument about which horse was the best is point less........Sec did not have too many races....never carried more than 129 lbs.....few tracks....one surface......check out Round Table.......grass champion....dirt champion.......top weighted at 138 lbs. ..track records.... Over 70 percent in the money after racing at least 60 times.... leading sire.....jock Bill Shoemaker.......even weights of129 lbs.......he would crush Sec.......one mile in half record does not qualify Sec to be the greatest race horse ever......just check out Round Table

We were just on holidays and passed these boys on the way to a tourist spot . - This was at least 2 years before they became famous . I obviously used my video recorder because I recognised that they had talent .

sorry about missing some words i am a bad typer, we met one of the boys, I think but that was in 2000. I need to proof read my posts.

Mulkerrins from Chicago and I stayed at the Mulkerrins B&B on Inishmore on my honeymoon It was the best time of our trip! inishmore is a BEAUTIFUL place I think we one of these boys I hope I am correct if not there good boys. I want to bring my kids to Inishmore someday my father is from Galway and mom is from Mayo. I truly wish all of you GODS Blessing's and take good care of those good boys!!!

Very early days but great to have Urban Sea's final offspring on a racecourse. On pedigree you would have to say the Derby is a complete no, but I did like the way he strided out- he wasn't a speedball by any means. This horse is going to stay a mile strongly. Whether he goes beyond a mile and a quarter though, that's a real tough one. Anyway, take the pressure off this young kid, let's just watch how he develops. He'll answer our questions in his own time.

after watching this and hearing johnny murtaghs comments after it i think they were unsure whether BTS would get the derby trip, with a turn of foot like it has - looks to me like it could be a miler, i really hope i am wrong and he can emulate his brother! even surpass him! (be difficult i know) Something that does give me confidence of how good BTS will be is the way his first race was listed class, John Oxx didnt even enter STS in a listed race first time he sent him to a maiden!

although the beresford stakes is still only a group 2 race, I think its the premier juvenile race in ireland which has thrown up as good a winner as you'd find in the dewhurst, rp trophy or the french version on arc day. This horse looks top quality and shows that urban sea has to be regarded as prob the best broodmare ever!

@GBeret83 Oxx said that he will race in an Irish group 3 his year in October and then he will end the season. I totally agree with your comment on Oxx. He knows what he's doing when he sends out an untested 2yo into a stakes race. He must know that this guy has got amazing ability.

@BigPetrov Stop talking about American horses when trying to compare them to European horses. I've been watching racing 25 years and i've heard SB but i've never bothered looking at his runs because it would be pointless. I would have no idea about who he's beating or how good they are. We dont watch enough of US racing to evaluate the form. As for Secretariat, Just because a horse can run against the clock doesn't mean he's the best. How many athletes set world records but never win GOLD!
