You don't need to beat the game to fight Satan

You need to complete a mission from chironup in the 3rd area in CoC I believe

This is almost the intended way to beat satan, cheese would be the stuff like balm farming like you see in godborn satan fights. Satans AI will never Megido Arc into a Guaranteed Dodge. You cannot tank a Megido Arc except with Enduring Soul or Max Buffs + Debuffs + Max Life (This can be only realistically achieved by the Demi fiend). The Dodge skill seems tailormade to make the satan fight doable, would not be the first time where a Specific skill is needed to do a superboss in a atlus game (SMT3 Lucifer, SMT4 Masakados etc.)

Alice navigator finds a lot of gems and there's an attis in Shinjuku you can trade gems for incenses

Arioch's innate skill gives him more damage for every dead ally you have in stock

I fought him after beat Demi-Fiend 2 times to get broken essence affinities, Gaea Rage and the Chaos King in my party. He was forced to submit against Gaea Rage spam

it's absurd how easy this fight becomes when you dress up as tsukuyomi + run a figment slash demon. otherwise doable on hard by stacking the party with endure+enduring soul although very difficult in terms of rng to take nahobino all the way to the end with only 3 endures and certain set of summons he uses from half health onward

So just P2W? Because Konohana Sakuya is DLC

​@@jeb_38 Welp at least they're rather generous about the DLCs this time I guess, I'm sure Konohana Sakuya and Dagda were the only important ones locked there, in IVA they literally had multiple Ultimate Bosses locked behind DLCs and in P5 Tactica there's an entire campaign locked behind one

Nah you don’t need it. I’ve done it without dlc and ng+ others have as well

if your characters can survive and not get one-shotted by its megido ark, he's not that difficult. id say true masakado > satan > demifiend > masakado > shiva.

spoiler warning In the canon of creation, you keep the regular naho form the entire game, in the vengeance version, you get to have it up until the end of shinjuku ( the replacement for chiyoda ) and you use it all the way to the throne, then after you fight tiamat, you get the regular form back, but at that point, theres only two fights left, tehom for law, mastema for chaos, and lucifer regardless of your route

IIRC it's just Masakado with his unique skill, Pleromas, Crit passives, and Enduring Soul. Arioch with Myriad Slashes, Pleromas, Debilitate, Critical Aura, and Critical Zealot. Konohana Sakuya with her unique skill, Heal Pleroma, Killing Wind, Force Pleromas, Debilitate, and Enduring Soul. Nahobino with Moonlight Frost, Pleromas, Luminescent Mirage, Elusive Eclipse, Intercalation, Debilitate, and Enduring Soul. Plus everyone with Repel for their weak elements and Great Life Spring/Great Mana Spring for the remaining slots.

Chaotic will is periodic, and mediarahan is once the turn he reaches under 50% if stopped via ailment he doesnt try mediarahan again

@@aokyoutsuki7744 I think he does Chaotic Will when he's at 75% of health and 25% of his health

@@max-lee1203 yeh, jus found out, he uses it a max o 3 cuz he heals, so reaching the 75 threshold twice

In the vengeance update, the raptor/avian mediarahan skip seems less consistent. I've only gotten it to successfully seal him a few times.

Smt 4 masakado was peak masakado. My 2nd favorite is general masakado in smt2 and dx2

yeah he looks good in smt 2 while his kabuki iteration just looks stupid especially with the whole floating t-pose thing

If that's cheesing then the whole dodge tank build is cheese. If he were to use Megido Ark instead of Megidolaon I would instead use Fierce Roar just like what I did for True Masakado.

@@Kerem-mf9oy Cheesing means that you are playing unfairly. I have a hard time understanding why using abilities that are accessible in the game makes it a cheese. You are basically making your own rules on what abilities are allowed and which are not. The whole point of the game is to try and create team compositions that are able to deal with the different fights. You might as well say that taking Null Phys with you against a boss that mainly does Physical moves is a cheese. But in reality you just tinkered your team to overcome it more easily.

@@Szhusma Cry all you want, still a cheese. Example of a cheese, since you don't understand what it is: your whole team has repel/drian phys = Demi-Fiend wastes all turns with a phys attack. Get it now? Manipulating enemy AI is a cheese. It's fine but better not call it NO CHEESE. That's my only issue, along with hiding stats.

@@Kerem-mf9oy You are the one who came crying about something put in a description because it does not fit your definition of a legit clear. The hiding stats point is also weird, since you can farm as many incense and balms as you want or just fight and have them gain stats in the in the Haunt. So you can just farm stats to power up and increase your chances of clearing it. But that does not mean that is a cheese.

Nope, it's own separate thing. You can unlock its easier by beating any CoV route then reloading an extra save before the final boss. Quest should be found in shinjuku area midpoint.

Shiva is in CoC and CoV. Also beating shiva (or satan) in CoV gives you access to the stronger final boss

You know you can use him to fight himself since you unlock him to use on that mode

To be fair at least 20 minutes of this hour was him slowly scrolling back and forth between each enemy unit over and over.

​@@DDRMANIAC007 It's possible to beat him in under 20 minutes, but Jim Reaper's low-level completion of the fight is basically a feature-length movie!

@@RaijinsTower In correct words this is wrong and in reality he sees you as a being of the taya of YHVH and Lucifer since this is the demi fiend in his strongest form and yet when he sees you the boss music of SMT 3 plays so in In reality, he sees you as a boss, that is, as a rival at his level, and he also throws you freikugel and chaotic, not even jokingly does he see you as a random combat

@@Glansi-kq3cu Respectfully disagree. The battle music indicates that and he's still stronger than us, you merely survive the encounter/battle and don't outright slay him.

@@RaijinsTower Well, obviously, these two survive by fighting more for fun and he is not stronger, in fact, he is weaker than the Nahobino since canonically Nahobino is just as strong as Yhvh and Lucifer from his initial state and it is canon that Demi Fiend is weaker. Lucifer said that is why he remains as his general since in SMT 4 a version of Demi Fiend could be seen who refused Lucifer's offer and that resulted in Lucifer killing him without any problem.

Hey! Do you happen to know any of his AI behaviour? In this fight he barely used Execution until the end and for me he spams it every time he gets to a certain HP mark.

@@Alexj96 Yeah, he uses it when he's down to 1/3 or in the red. Otherwise, only elemental dracostrikes or Freikugel. The thing is to eat his turns the most possible so he doesn't heal as much, but with spamming RE near the end, it's more of a matter of being buffed and him debuffed. I also used Demeter for a 125% full team heal, but sometimes he does outdamage the heal.

@@kaiserkreuz2110 Thank you, the thing that confuses me is that in this video he literally dosnt use it for many many turns until the very end, so im thinking if theres a way to force that or it was just extreme luck? Seems unlikely no?

@@Alexj96 It's more like a phase switch. Once he hits a certain HP threshold, he just spams it every turn.

@@kaiserkreuz2110 Thanks again, but is not the case in this videos. He goes like 30 minutes or more with health way under 30% without doing it once. Now, in my attempts he always does it but it seems theres a way to avoid it maybe, same as Satan with Megido Ark.

I wasted a lot of time at 15:00 - 42:00 not switching Masakado back in earlier. I realized that he was trapped in a loop too late but I also feared that he will break it - which he did, at 58:39. I played it very safe due to random Freikugel and Recalcitrant crit PTSD until he started casting 2 diaramas in a row forcing me to increase my damage output.

@@CSw321 still good on you regardless bro 7 press turns is OD. You think Satan or Masakado is better in terms of damage output? (as a demon on your team not as bosses.)

​@@ypcysSatan is only really great if you're fighting 3 or more targets, otherwise Masakado is far more helpful

​@@ypcysSatan has better resistances, but Masakado has a much better passive, and Megiddo Ark is terrible if there's only 1 target
