We really like the OG Love Letter and so we tried another version. We chose Infinity Gauntlet which I noticed that you ranked at #1. I've played it several times and with different people but each time I've played it, it definitely doesn't appeal to gamers or my family as much as the OG Love Letter

Wow, Lost Legacy is not LL. It was designed as a successor (e.g., added the investigation phase) with 9 different games (Starship, Flying Garden, Vorpal Sword, etc.) I’ve never played the Marvel 1 vs many game, but that doesn’t seem like LL either. Maybe you should define what you think is a LL game is first.

My favorites are the Avengers one ( not even a Marvel fan) and Lovecraft letter. Oh and "Power hungry Pets" which is a new one is cute, only minor rule changes though

Great video! I got extremely lucky and got a pretty cheap new copy of Lovecraft Letter and it's my favorite!! I love going Insane and getting access to new abilities, but you have to be careful not to die from insanity. I highly recommend it.

I enjoyed your perspective on all the characters. This is slowly becoming one of my favorite games in my collection as I learn and get more expansions / characters. Originally I was starting away from the Marvel expansions due to having Marvel Ledgendary and a few other games, and just getting burnt out on the Marvel world in everything, but after your review of the characters, definitely going to reconsider.

Have you played Lovecraft Letter since making this video? If so, how does the experience rank?

Batman is still the best. It may not have the fresh twists the newer ones have, but it's implementation of the classic game is perfect. Getting points for correct guesses and being immune as Robin open up very interesting strategic choices. We loved the art a lot. Looks like we have the opposite appraisal in every way about the game!

Regarding The Faceless, 1. I really don't like when the art is repeating itself on cards. 2. Don't this game as a huge potential for alpha gamer, or someone who "knows better than everyone"? 3. I've been offered to trafe this game (KS all in) and I'm really on the fence... Doesn't it bother you?

Great breakdown! I've only played this game once as Alice, and I was able to squeak out the win by making myself the lesser threat against my two opponents (Arthur and Medusa), picking and choosing my battles, swinging in Big to deal damage, and shrinking Small again to hide away. I liked playing as her because of that choice you get to make each turn; do I stay this size based on what's in my hand now, or do I switch based on what I might draw into? That's also why I love this system, too. It's designed to give players as many choices as possible to let them find which characters feel best to them. I just got two of the Marvel sets for myself (Daredevil's easily my favorite Marvel hero aside from Spidey), and I bought my brother and his girlfriend the Dr. Sattler/T-Rex set since Jurassic Park is her favorite movie of all time. I know they'll likely never play it (they never play the games I get for them) but I imagine if I sat down with them and taught them myself they'd probably get a good kick out of the concept and want to find their own favorites.

This was super awesome, I’ll have to get my hands on the Marvel sets soon. My top 3 as of right now would probably have to be; 3. Ellie Satler 2. Achilles 1. Raptors And I do win regularly with the Raptors, there one of my faves bc of the unique challenge they bring.

Thanks for this list. I only have Cobble and Fog. I don't like Sherlock that much as most of the times I get powerful Dr. Watson cards after he dies and then it clogs my deck.

I thoroughly enjoyed both of these games! But if I had to choose one to play, it’d probably be underwater cities based on its aesthetics, it’s overall prettier and more attractive to the eye. Carnegie isn’t bad either, a bit heavier I think, and I wouldn’t mind seeing it hit the table a few times here and there!

This is great! I know the current 'Big Three' on the tournament scene are 'Sherlock - Medusa - Yennenga' (with Sun-Wukong, Little Red, Big Foot and Achilles being solid favorites for top players) so its cool seeing how your rankings differ and how even fighters the top players consider 'bad' can still be both fun and successful in other settings! *Prior to the Rex v Sattler and Marvel sets, I don't think their have been any super big tournaments with them yet*
