Im Based in Hartlepool in the North East of England I love to fish & make memories with my kids why not combine the two i can't wait to take you all on this journey with me, I'm fairly new to saltwater fishing but picking it up really fast hope you all enjoy and tight lines.

We went to Middleton looking for flatfish or anything that would take the bait we was offering weather was good lovely day out with the kids till my son dropped his phone of the pier into the water we managed get it back and it still works.

This was my 1st time beach fishing so this session was more about learning the ins & outs of beach fishing and using big gear I enjoyed it it was an experience it was hard to start of with but I got the hang of it by the end. I like using my own methods and gear that I feel comfortable with I use 30Ib rig body and 20Ib hook length I will be going up to 60Ib rig body and 40Ib to 45Ib hook length...

@chrisyoung442 just do it how you do it mate I have learned all by trying what is best for me I do alot different to alot of other anglers everyone has there own way I use 30Ib mono running all the way through I use 1 o hooks I make my rigs out of 30Ib mono it all seems to work for me never had a problem my baiting up has got pretty decent too just takes time 😁
Swings and roundabouts that's fishing shame the Bertie Bass didn't show up but at least yous caught a couple of flounders. Try a light spinning rod coupled with a fixed spool and 28g Minnow spinner can be excellent from that particular mark, well done guys tight lines.
Just found you and really enjoyed the video. Hartlepool looks like a great place to go for an easy afternoons bit of fishing never been there so I might have to put that right later in the year.
@andybridge9583 Thank you :) Yeah it's alright the fishing up here even if you blank the views are amazing & I still haven't ventured other places in hartlepool so hopefully get out and record in them spots too

HAD SOME GOOD FISH FROM THE BEACH AT THE POWER STATION OUT FALL, OVER THE MANY YEARS OF FISHING, ALL THE COOLING WHITE WATER INSIDE THE SPIRE... AT LEAST YOU DIDN'T BLANK 👍👍
Yeah not gonna get a fish everytime but I'm still learning putting in the hard work trying find the decent fishing spots 😁
Lovely video that beach can throw up some good bass the flattie you caught was a flounder as.dabs are more lighter in colour and transparent
Yeah I'm awful at distinguishing flatfish 🤣 but that makes it easier and thank you I'm feeling my videos are getting better everytime I film them I'm really enjoying it can't wait to catch more bass 😁
First bass is a pure buzz, mine was off there too, well done matey.

@shaunhart5402 yeah it was clear yesterday I fell of the wall on to the step below luckily I had my backpack on that broke my fall still hurt like a so and so

Best way to stop weed build up on your line , when you have your rods in the rest low down you have all that line sitting in the water collecting all the floating weed . If you adjust your rod rest mate so your rods are high up in the rod rest you won't collect all the weed and flotsam thats going by . And its great to see the youngings getting in to there fishing belta mate . And his expressions man spot on mate 👍

Well done lads, a nice brace of flounders and a cracking Bass you can't beat a good fish to raise flagging spirits always a great watch tight lines keep going I'm sure there's more Bass out there with your name on it.

Good spot for bass nd flatfish a found about 20 t 30 yards out with rag works best
I couldn't get any Rag but hopefully be able to next time if not keep trying with different baits hopefully it might work

Do you ever sticka live bait out in them areas? close to the wall on a slider rig, we fish areas like this at home here in jersey. and its always worth a shot. - dropped you a new sub. keep up the top work

Yeah definitely slow 2 weeks then be back at it but 1 fish better than none but been slow this year all together up to now

If ya lean over on a clear day nd look down the wall ya can see big wrass swimming along the wall but for some reason they wont take a bait or lure the just dont sho intrest in anything
Well done catching the whiting guys, still quite everywhere from the shore at the minute to be fair although there has been the odd bass and size codlings caught from the promenade when there's been some sea running. The ferry steps at the end of the town wall can produce a variety of species alternatively try a LRF light float fished ragworm on the seaward side of the pilot pier near where the blocks end short casts usually work. great to see the lads out happy days and tight lines as always

Good to see you on the beach at last 👍 The sea looked perfect for bass. Next time try fishing ragworm and you'll be in with a good chance of a bass, flounder or dab. Beach fishing is so much better than the piers. Last Saturday I was just north of where you fished and had bass and founder. 🙂
