This is so cool....Can someone here clarify why E36 2 door coupe cars are used? Is it because they perform so well this kind of maneuvers?
I think the cars just look cool, are rear wheel drive and have enough power......and they are also strong enough to stand this kind of treatment... Greetings from Germany..
I may be saying rubish but I think the 2 doors have a stiffer chassis and body so they bend less and yea they do look cooler too!
E36 is known to be one of the best handling cars of all time and amazingly controllable ..u always know what the cars doing..plus they are light :)
OK I have one question.... When I apply a handbrake I slow down all 4 wheel ?? I thnik because 4x4 is permanently ON, like on this golf with syncro
Nope, when the front wheels spinning faster than the back wheels, the syncro clutch is connecting and giving the rear wheels power. When back off throttle/same speed on 4 wheels, the clutch disconnecting and it's powering only the front wheels, so the handbrake doesn't brake the front wheels.
