Perfect example of being a gentleman!!!! I'm speaking for myself, my late husband was exactly this way while we dated and all through the years of marriage!!! I haven't started dating as of yet, but I certainly hope if there is another partner or companion in my future that he will exude these gentlemen qualities.

It is great for the young men to see this,; that it is not only young women put your money over everything, it is evident at older ages too. Nothing about what she brings to the table for the man, other than draining his bank accounts. I would bet she has many prior divorces, and done well in extracting assets from her former mates. She is probably running out of money from the last grift... A woman who places the emphasis on what you can do for her is long term trouble, and you dodged an expensive bullet. Being able to laugh at yourself is an admirable quality, and your sense of humor is refreshing compared to most self-absorbed videos. When I run into someone as you did--my response will be..."oh, I was looking for a relationship, but I guess you are looking for a retirement plan. We are not a match!" I assume I will have to say that more than once from what my older single friends tell me. Thanks for sharing your thoughts and experiences, as they is so little out there for men over age 65 who are dating again.

The number of senior men being a victim of "Grey Divorce" is climbing, and for those entering the dating scene again--it would be helpful to know about your experiences. What sites have you been on? What advice for setting up the profile would you suggest? The numbers you have reported for number of dates and conversations is MUCH higher than what younger man get on dating sites. What would you attribute that to? There are actually a ton of questions you could answer for future videos, as many of us have not yet begun, or do not have the experiences you do. And thanks for your time doing this, as there are not any sources for senior men dating available on TH-cam to my understanding. Most all is geared to younger men, and their stories are chilling.

Good perspective. That being said, I would so men should tread carefully. Many (not all) women are looking for someone as their retirement plan as they have not done so themselves. I would say to men that they should enjoy dating and companionship, but no reason to legally bind themselves in any kind of financial relationship. This is from someone married over 30 years but have observed many male friends and colleagues in financial distress as senior citizens due to relationships that have not worked out.

Thanks for posting this; it offered a valuable perspective into dating for seniors, and I haven't seen anything like it on TH-cam. Just the mere fact that you are filming for TH-cam shows that you're ahead of the game ... A lot of seniors wouldn't even be able to create a TH-cam channel in the first place, let alone operate a computer. Kudos to you. Thanks again.

This guy is soft. Did you go back 100 years in your Way Back machine to find these women? Your first mistake is to believe anything that comes out of any woman's mouth. Second mistake is paying for anything that goes into it.

Generally, I'd say a man taking any dating advice from a woman is akin to asking a fish how to catch fish. What the woman won't tell you is that any advice only applies to a man she's attracted to. More specifically, the insult is a version of a poop test, meaning, how much poop can she toss your way and get away with? Had a woman (on the first date) tell me I was "warped" because I didn't have a dog growing up. She seemed to think that was funny. I didn't and ended that date immediately.

What a bunch of crap. Dating at your age is going to the Goodwill store looking for a bargain.
