Music is warmly touching too. Haven't heart for a long time. Sounds so good. :)
Looks like my old Lutheran Church in Columbus, Wisconsin. Always loved the old stained glass windows.
This is the day that the Lord has made ✝️
Thank you for sharing this. May his memory be a blessing. Love you, Uncle Lou.

Church was uplifting today. Something is still missing.
Our prayers are with you. Praying for life, and life abundant, even when something feels missing.

I love this! May we have permission to use this video for our online worship service this Sunday? We have all the appropriate licensing.
Nicely done! May I use this for a worship video for my congregation?
Sure!
VERY cool - and so nice to see everyone, too! Love to you all...Julie C.L.
I think her reference to a "cracker" is particularly important. Although she didn't say why it is so, as John Paul II put it, "This is to be our Passover." That means using unleavened bread. Instead of using any old bread, it is instructive for us only to use unleavened bread (of any sort) to remind us that, as he put it, this is our Passover. We become part of a people that goes back to slavery in Egypt and earlier when we are careful only to use unleavened bread as a teaching tool that, we, too, are children of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, whom God renamed "Israel," and were slaves in Egypt until in his own time (after 430 years, as he had promised) we, too, should be set free from bondage in pagan Egypt. We have some hardtack in the cupboard. Maybe it isn't matzah, as such, but it is bread that took no time to leaven as the angel of death came upon the unrelenting ones who refused to heed the call of God's prophet and, as such, suffered such punishment as could only have been avoided by the blood of the lamb spread on the doorposts and lintels of our homes. Find a cracker or some hardtack or any bread that has not been leavened with yeast, and, if anyone asks why we eat only unleavened bread on this occasion, that is the perfect opportunity to explain that we were once slaves in Egypt, but with a mighty hand, the holy One set us free.
Thank u
Thank you, Jen!
Thank you for posting your sermon! It makes me feel connected to my Good Shepherd family when I am away. I just turned Facebook on.....and there you were! A Sign to me! ❤️ ❤️ ❗️ ❗️
Thanks for recording and posting Pastor Jen's sermon "Is the Bible True?" I just watched it with my older daughter who is a most serious skeptic of many aspects of life and God.
