Joy of Volunteering | Mental Health and Happiness | Webinar Series
The fourth webinar of the series 'Mental Health & Happiness' on 'Joy of Volunteering' was helmed by our panelists, which included Dr. S.A. Basir (Consultant Psychiatrist & Founder Director, Mind Piper), Dr. H.S. Aditya (Consultant Psychiatrist & Secretary, RFS Bangalore), Mr. Shahzada Khurram (Family Carer & All-India Network Incharge, FaceMI) and Ms. Piyusha Sharma (Assistant Professor & DME Media School, Noida). Volunteers from the four RFS branches - Mrs. Sreelekha Jayanandan (Bangalore), Mrs. Sumeeta Chopra (Delhi), Dr. Venkataramaiah (Sidlaghatta) and Mrs. Rashmi Dani (Lucknow).
The webinar stimulated a very passionate discussion on volunteering. We aimed to motivate participants to volunteer and offer support to any individual or organization.
The Department of Development Communication and Extension, Lady Irwin College (University of Delhi), in association with Richmond Fellowship Society (India) and RAHAT Charitable and Medical Research Trust, Delhi organized this webinar on 9th October 2023, from 3:00 pm to 4:30 pm. The session was moderated by Prof. Aparna Khanna, DCE Department, Lady Irwin College (University of Delhi). The session introduction and the closing remarks were given by Dr. Mridula Seth, Vice President, RFS (I), Delhi. The vote of thanks was given by Dr. Manish Jha, Secretary, RFS (I), Delhi.

Yashi Jain , In B.Sc Home science you can study a lot, it offers so many subjects like communication and extension,mass media, food and nutrition, resources management,human development ,fabric sciences,physics,chemistry,botany,zoology and much more...., First we learn in our theory classes and then we do practicals which makes this learning process more interesting and easy to understand ,I hope this will be helpful.
I got viveknaada college with bsc hons home science but i upgrade and want this collge with this course.
