Very nicely done. Thx
That is a zipper foot!!!
Actually it is not. The one I used in this video is Standard Presser foot for Juki Industrial Sewing machines. Cheers.
So helpful thank you 🙏🏾 very kind of you to post
Finally someone explains it quick and precise
Thank you for that excellent tutorial , such clean, beautiful finish❤
That's a beautiful cut so flattering - thankyou Neda

The best video ever❤❤❤😊
سلام ندا خانم من فرح هستم از آنکارا. ویدئو خیلی خوب بود
That’s a fantastic dress 🤩
Great tutorial. I came across this whilst looking for an entirely different tutorial and I'm glad I found it as it's so useful. I was looking for a way to deal with curves on silk satin. I can't cut notches or it will fray. A very tricky issue to overcome. Anyway, thank you for this video. Bias tape may be a solution for my issue. Who knows.
... это называется московский шов ...
tq ❤
🥰
Excellent and clear instructions. Thank you!
This was perfect! 🌷 _Thank you._ ❤️
I need to buy a dress form for comercial use I would like to produce size xs to L / 40 to 46 or 4 to 10. Should I buy size 0 or 2?
This is amazing and a high-end finishing for silk.
Hi! Not sure if I missed it, did you back tack at all?
Hi, yes of course. At the beginning of sewing when i refer to "Lock it", i meant that I backed my stitching. But I usually do it fast and just a few stitches.
Thanks for the vídeo!!!
سلام از آنکارا
Wow! Hehe my dream growing up was to be a wedding dress designer, I used to design my wedding dress too over and over. However I became an accountant and have worked over 20 years behind a desk looking at numbers every day 😂This would be my dream job ❤
Beautiful
‘Don’t rush it’ 😂 her slow speed on the machine is the fastest i can co and my seams go all crooked even 🎉😂
😁
What is the tension, width and length?
Take the body being clothed into consideration where darts are concerned.
Thanks for the clear instructions
Could you do tutorial on putting the boucle jacket together with emphasis on the seam finishing. How did you finish the seams on this jacket? Thank you.
We have the full video from design, draping, pattern cutting, sewing and finishing of this jacket and many other dress projects on our membership website. Www.drapingsociety.com Cheers,
Thank you madem
Beautiful
Is it true that the fabric “shrink”/retract? Is it better to cut the pattern before or after the interfacing? Thanks a lot ❤
Hi, yes fabric shrinks under some circumstances. I usually buy fabrics that are pre-shrunk treatment and washed (for release chemicals or color if it dark) that is done in the mill. Now 100% Cotton, wool or similar usually shrink after a wash, but before you use interfacing it's a good idea to iron your fabric before any application. Other than that, when considering to use interfacing especially the heavier one, you must know you will lose most of the natural stretch or flexibility of the fabric, meaning it might feel tighter if you want to make something form fitting that is interfaced.
Thank you so much for this explanation. No one ever talks about this part of sewing. It's like some hidden mystery 😢
Thank you💖
Loved your vid. Keep pushing more great and informative content. All so can you tell me the title and singer of the music playing in the background. Thank you.
You make it so effortlessly easy! I think I will go insane before I can finish a hem like how you did it! ❤
You can start by doing the edging of Chiffon or any silk top with short sleeves. This is a great finishing for visible edges of blouses, skirts or anything that you like their finishing touches to look high-end. Cheers. ❤
Awesome, thank you ❤
I fully agree that the so called dress making markers and pens don't use. I use a normal pen if I know it is in a place where it won't show after finishing the garment, but the art pencils sound like a brilliant idea❤
Where can I find this knit interfacing? I used a lightweight woven on my silk and it’s a little stiff. Thank you
This is amazing thank you
