Luca Scalas is a 27 y/old professional guitarist and singer/songwriter from Italy (Sardinia). In 2011 he achieved a BMus(Hons) at the Academy of Contemporary Music in Guildford (UK)
Having studied classical, acoustic and electric guitar for the last 15 years, his musical influences encompass classical, baroque, romantic, spanish, jazz, pop, rock and contemporary progressive music.
He performed extensively as a solo guitarist, in a guitar and vocals duo with various singers, in the UK, in Italy and Switzerland. His vast repertoire land itself for concerts as well as background performance.
Between 2010 and 2011 he was chosen to sing with the renewed ACM Gospel Choir, performing at the Royal Albert Hall, Wembley Stadium, O2 Indigo, Windsor Castle and Olympic Stadium.
Since 2012 he started working as Assistant Cruise Director in the Seabourn Cruiselines.
He is now based in Seoul, South Korea composing music and working as session guitarist for the reknown band 'The Nuts'.
