Die Band "Joy5" aus Bielefeld spezialisiert sich auf die Musikgenres Soul-, Funk- und Pop. Darüber hinaus covert die Musikgruppe Songs bekannter Interpret*innen wie Stevie Wonder, Randy Crawford und Lisa Stansfield. Die Bandmitglieder*innen Matthias Friemel und Jenni Pola sprechen mit Moderatorin Sandra Ascheberg über die Inspiration hinter "Joy5": Die Musiker*innen möchten bei Live-Konzerten ihre Lebensfreude auf das Publikum übertragen und ein einzigartiges Erlebnis bieten. I was army but my last posting in Germany was ground comms for the harrier force. On my last exercise i rwas lucky enough to get a flight in a t4. One of the best flights i've ever had. 450knots at 250 feet is quite the roller coasyer ride.
I worked on Harriers for a year, great planes but yukky to work on lol

Thanks for excellent work to Mr. Tony Domeisen MBE. Many years dedicated to strengthening British-German relations. Stationed in Hannover, later transferred to Guetersloh. Was a very nice neighbour in Kleefeld!
The British got rid of the oldest regiment in the British Army. Of course it was a Scottish regiment, wouldn't be English.
I wonder what the word Gutersloh means in English.

I miss the forces. They are lacking in the cityscape I grew up with there. Some good friends left the neighbourhood that day.

Let me tell you something: thank to amok running Putin (Ukraine 2022) they could soon be back along with other NATO units to protect Central Europe for another one hundred years or so. Danke Herr Drews. Es wird wirklich Zeit alle Besatzungstruppen zu verabschieden. Vor allem die Amerikaner und vor allem Ramstein wieder an ein souveränes Deutschland zu übergeben.

Every occupation comes to an end one day. First Russia, then UK and one day America. Germany is very capable defending itself.

Dream on! None of us can without the US guarantee, I spent 17yrs in the British Army and I always remember the closer you got to the IGB the more pleased the Germans were to see us!

I did my National Service with 26 Regiment 16 (Sandhams) Battery, Jan1961 -June 1962, At that time they were stationed at Terendak Camp, Malaysia and part of 28 Commonwealth Brigade. 16 Battery was assigned as fire support for 1 Royal Australian Regiment and we were equipped with 25 pounders .
