Ludmila Pagliero and Mathias Heymann are GORGEOUS. I was in the public and just cannot stop watching their ultimate dancing performance in this magnificent video since then. One of the most beautiful classical Ballet by the GOAT male ballet dancer, Mr Rudolf NUREYEV.

My favorite male version of the Bolero. Somehow he turns it from a ritual dance of fertility to a dance of death. I see a desperate intensity in every gesture and movement, as if he were a sacrificial victim forced to dance until his death.

Heymann est absolument éblouissant ! Quelle puissance et pourtant quelle légèreté. Et cette technique si affûtée ! Pagliero n'est pas en reste : magnifique couple qui fonctionne à merveille.
왜 그가 수석 무용수를 넘어선 에뚜왈이 되었는지 이해가 됩니다. 정말이지 놀라운 발레리노입니다. 움직임을 보면서 한시도 눈을 뗄수가 없었습니다.
그래도 가슴이 울리고 영혼이 흔들리는 건 조르쥬 돈 밖에 없지 싶네요

i think Nureyev's version it so hard that maybe it would be nice'' to compromise sometimes and just ship that last part of the man variation with tours right & left ending in Arabesque, not everyone was born lucky to do both sides clean and perfect. GOSH!!!
I understand totally what you mean - it's a fiendishly difficult part of the variation! I was actually surprised that Heymann found the double tours into arabesque so difficult given the brilliant perfection of his performance up until then, but even Legris and Thibault could not do them perfectly. Yes, hopefully, at some point the great classics with Nureyev's choreography can slowly undergo revision.
