​@@zissaqua9802 should the pressure relief valve's cap be tightened all the way? I've been considering adding a shut off valve to my co2 line to turn it off at night, my thinking is that it could be ok since the pressure relief valve would open if pressure got too high, but whether or not it would in fact be safe to do so depends on the what psi the valve is set to open at; do you have the information on what psi the pressure relief valve is set to open at? Can that setting be adjusted by tightening or lessening the pressure relief valve's cap? If using the pressure relief valve in this manner should some form of lubrication be applied to the pressure relief valve o-rings? If so, what form of lubrication? Depending on the material an o-ring is made from the wrong kind of lubricant will damage it.

Do you mean fine bubbles? or don't produce CO2?

@@zissaqua9802 The center control knob that controls the amount of co2 is broken. Can i purchase one or two from you. Got a full blast right in the face.

​@jamesamatore8717 you probably just turned it too far, there's a delay between adjusting the knob and bubble rate adjustment. It doesn't control the gas directly, just the rate of drops from top tank to bottom one, so once you adjust the drop rate it takes time for the reaction to reach a new equilibrium. It can be touchy, a small turn makes a big difference, but be patient with it, these reactors work pretty well as long as you take the time to get it dialed in

Amazon or eBay maybe? Try looking for some online hobby shops. If you wanna go DIY use 350ml 10% spirit vinegar instead of citric acid. I found it's more effective.

You can turn the valve down. It has safety valve as well so there's no danger of exploding if you turn it down. Mine is running 24h without any problems. Lot of fish in my tank.

It looks like it works on the principle that hatched egg shells rise, and a light source towards the bottom will draw hatched shrimp down to be let out through the spout. However I always find unhatched or bad eggs also go to the bottom and this method of separation has always been messy and unsuccessful for me. I end up putting a light half way up and then siphoning in a targeted way using rigid airtube attached to regular air tube. Might work better with a better source of eggs but you have to use what's available :(
