Phew! Admittedly, I don't have an excellent musical ear and I was also just listening while working. But at 1:04:00 I thought I heard Luciano Pavarotti. Since I know he's gone, I hurried to look. Of course, it's not. But what a good tone of voice.

I really like Rivka Falk. Her voice was very warm and pleasing to listen to. She could use a little polishing, but the voice is even, and she's well connected to her chest voice. Overall, it was an exciting voice. It was sad she didn't get more applause. The tenor was good as well

The voices overall are very good. However, it doesn't seem well rehearsed with the orchestra. Especially in both L'Elisir d'amore selections, especially in the allegro portions.

I saw this opera live in Seattle three days ago, apparently the same date this performance was broadcast. It was a very different production. Happy World Opera Day, three days ago.

Who is the Rosina at 23:00?? Wow, she's very promising! I like how she husbands her resources by not pushing for high notes in between and reserving it for the final high B. The voice is even thru out and has a solid top!

Apparently the aria for Violetta was cut or the order was changed and the rest of the selections were one behind what they were supposed to be. So, Estrano came after the tenor aria and duet. Not sure why there was a change, perhaps a singer had to leave early so they changed the order?

Lovely concert and a great way to celebrate World Opera Day - an important reminder in these times, that the world is still filled with beauty. Already heard some of my Mozart favourites beautifully performed. Thanks to all involved! Wonderful to see so many talented young performers!

Beautiful concert with some great highlights. The masks have left their toll on young throats and sensitive souls. Mimi and Rodolfo were touching and very talented. Tosca was poised and excellent, Eboli showed real potential. Marta, you could profit from focusing on the abdominal support and chutzpah. You're the real thing.

Pray for Israel and all Jewish, that God protect, also us.

The voices of the singers were not well recorded which resulted in their singing being overwhelmed by the music accompaniment on many occasions. This is unfortunate since many of them had good voices and sang well most of the time some of them actually sang very well. Congratulations to all performers is deserved.
