Mostly videos about riding motorcycles, especially ones I own like my 2021 Indian Challenger or my 2016 Triumph Rocket III Roadster. I'm also a huge nerd and a Floridian, so occasional content about PC gaming and Disney as well.

A short video I shot in the rain to show that not only does Indian's Ride Command weather mapping function work, but you can also switch between it and your CarPlay or Ottocast Android Auto screen at will! You can also see my Ottocast working perfectly, with hand controls and everything. My Motovlogging Setup:GoPro Hero 12 Black: amzn.to/46c2v7V Insta360 One RS: amzn.to/3t6k22U Cardo Packtalk B...

Why the Indian Challenger is So Nice for Hot Days! - 100 Subs!
Looking at getting a Challenger, coming from two Harleys and an adventure Honda. I appreciate this video, but moreover I just really enjoyed listening. Excellent woek my friend.
hello dear friend on track to get a Rocket ii l'm watching every avaao e taday, I already every available test as well as videos. so happened to watch yours today. I already own a new generation rocket 3r, nevertheless having a taste of these wonderful engines I also want the older classic model in my collection. It looks incredibly beautiful. I would like some help from you because I heard a nice deep sound in the video. have you made any changes to the exhaust ends or any upgrades to the existing ones? any information would be very helpful. thank you
Would you take this on a big trip? I've got an 1100 sabre about 45 minutes of riding and I have to take a break. I'm looking for something I can get on and ride 75 to 100 mi without being sore lol.
I've ridden my Rocket from Macon, GA to Orlando, FL without stopping except to buy gas a couple times, was about 4.5 hours! That said, it wasn't super fun, haha. I've since set the bike up for touring a lot better, with a Corbin seat, highway pegs, and I've also moved the footpegs forward by installing some from an original gen Rocket III, and it's not a bad bike to spend a day on at all. It doesn't hold a candle to my Indian Challenger though, floorboards and fairing go a long way.
Wow amigo, excelente, que moto tan bonita!💖
Thank you! Very helpful
Appreciate the review 👍 I'm still about 2 years from an "upgrade" but this bik might pull me away from HD. It's kinda hard to argue with - Liquid cooled, inverted forks, more power. Im definitely gonna ride one of these before i just go get a Road Glide.
I’d say I ain’t jealous….. but you know I’d be lyin’😅
Thanks bro! Love being back out on the road! Best place to be!
Yo! So awesome to see ya out on another adventure bro 😅
Looks like Guntersville or scottsboro
Think you are correct!
Question, with this setup are you required to have a headset and or a microphone to get CarPlay to function? I have a 2020 Challenger Limited and want to use CarPlay primarily for music and maps, would this allow me to do so? Great content btw! 😊
Yes, you need a headset of some kind, even just air pods paired in the saddlebag.
There are now weather apps for AA.
What?! Where?
Very nice feature...😊
Quit wasting our time... take your bike to a tech at the local dealer... contact a few tech departments and discuss this with them.
What in the world are you talking about?
Next yr looking at a new touring bike. Will wait to see what the limited offers but the pursuit is hard to beat.
Purdy 👌
Between the Um's and the stuttering all over the clutch adjust meant, this was very hard to listen to . Usually I can follow you but this time... really annoying. maybe edit more in post. Thanks.
You Don't own a car and that's a big thing? Dude you don't have a wife and that's Huge! This video was very helpful as tomorrow I am test riding the challenger I had a chieftain and it was wonderful but I wanted Water cooled so I traded it for the Goldwing. Nothing wrong with it it just doesn't have the charm of an Indian. Hearing you tell me that motor is solid is worth a lot so thank you.
Well, I mean to say that no owning a car is a big factor because I'm not making a car payment. Paying for a 30k bike and the accompanying maintenance costs make a lot more sense when you're not also doing the same w/ a 30k car.
I,ve ridden both and I don't own an indian anymore but for me the Challenger still beats the 2024 Road Glide by some margin.
Anyway for this to work without a helmet?
You can pair any kind of headset to work as a mic, like air pods or something.
This was a really cool video! First time I watched a video that I was able to interact by turning my phone and seeing the route from different angles.
I am riding up pikes peak in August. Kinda excited and nervous at the same time.
It's a hell of an experience man! Hope you're good with the clutch!
Just running across your videos because I'm looking to set up Ottocast. Thanks for running through the setup in your vids and tips & tricks. While I appreciate your enthusiasm behind Indian's attempt at "infotainment", when I spend $30k plus for something, I expect it to work. "Buggy" doesn't come close to the frustration I have with it. Everyone's response is "use your phone" or "I use my phone" and while that's an option, I shouldn't have to use my phone because their product flat out sux. I'm on a '23 Pursuit now and I had less issues with my '15 & '18 Roadmasters. All that aside, I do appreciate your videos and your opinions, so thanks for taking the time to put these together.
I run the Ottocast every time I ride, for hours at a time, and have very minimal issues. The Ride Command works great for me for ride tracking, getting info about the bike, and changing settings and Android Auto works for everything else. Honestly, I have a great experience using the Ride Command on my Challenger as a result.
So should I disconnect the phone to the bike and connect the phone to the cardo and ottocast? Then have the cardo and ottocast connected to the bike? I have a Samsung z fold 3, also can I have the intercom connected as well to talk to friends?
You can let the phone connect to the bike, but there's no real reason to and it can confuse things. The required configuration is to pair the Cardo or other headset to the bike, plug the Ottocast into the bike, connect the phone to the Ottocast. And yes, your intercom still works fine. Intercom will always connect, irrespective of whether you have something connected to the bluetooth. I do like to connect my phone to the Cardo as "Phone 2" and the bike to the Cardo as "Bike" or on an older Cardo as "Phone 1", because that way the Cardo keeps talking to the phone if you shut the bike off.
@@cl2eep_rides thanks bro
You are spot on regarding the foot position. Always a cramped feeling on the harleys. Indians, the challenger especially, give me a comfortable position
Does this still work? Just bought one(not exact unit, this one is sold out and not avail on Amazon) and trying to get it to work and I'm getting zero results. Did they nix the Otoocasts too?
This does still work perfectly fine, but you do need this unit. Other ones can work, but not as well. Still use my Ottocast every day though.
@@cl2eep_rides thank you!
The powerband V2s are better than the V1s...... The 1st version is not really better than the factory 6 1/2" speakers.
Hahaha, that's completely wrong my friend. Did you bother watching the video at all? The 1st gens and 2nd gens are literally the same speakers, as confirmed by Indian, I literally put their email on the screen. They both instruct the ECM to give double the power to the speaker, and the they both are self amplified. There's a HUGE difference between the 50W 6.5" speakers and the 100W Powerband 6.5" speakers. Not only can literally every person who has heard the before and after getting Gen 1s on their own bike tell you that it was an absolutely massive difference on upgrade, as well as the difference just handling the speakers but there's plenty of documentation showing the difference between the 50W 6.5" speaker that comes in the limited and the 100W Powerband. Meanwhile, anyone who has heard a 2024 Powerband next to a 21 Powerband with the Bass Boost upgrade can tell you it's the exact same sound. There's no difference.
@cl2eep_rides TH-camrs : rydingfish & DAVIDSON AUDIO Did a 3- way comparrison... 3 bikes , side by side... Unless you have two bikes , im gonna take what they said as truth... There's a v2 , for THAT REASON.
Fellow Rocketeer here! I had a 2018 Roadster (hit a deer and totaled it). Now i have a 2015 Roadster! I modded the crap out of both lol most comfortable cruiser ive ever ridden and will power wheelie no problem! 🤘 you've got a sub from me brotha!
Hey , tell me about those hiway pegs you got on there, brand ,where from ,price etc
Those are some TCMT Amazon specials!
Thanks!
How and when did i do this 2 dollar charge?
I bought a used one of 2021 Challenger limited ruby metallic I love the bike and no one showed me cuz I didn't buy it from the Indian but I was just wondering I have a Samsung and you know plugged it into the little pocket on the right side on the fairing it worked fine and paired up fine you know with Bluetooth in a phone I can get a call from someone but I can't talk through the bike I like it my friend called I can see his name on the screen and you know like you would get a call and I can hear him in the phone coming from the speaker in the phone in their pocket but I can't talk to him like I can't with my LG Tone so I was wondering I know he mentioned you need a microphone or something I'm not a tech guy so if someone could explain it to me a little better or maybe have a website what I would need to get thank you very much
You have to pair a microphone of some kind to the bike. A Cardo or a Sena.
I've had a bunch of bikes dirt bikes Harley's custom bikes to Valkyries a bagger Valkyrie and chopped down one with the 6 and 6 to exhaust and I just still have my 2012 Stratoliner Deluxe with freedom true dual exhaust on it and it's I love that bike too it's silver and it has all the Chrome on it and the thing the Chrome guards around the bags and around the fender and it's a really nice Stratoliner Deluxe 1900 V-Twin with belt drive but I'm going to sell it. But a couple days ago I saw online the same color he has ruby metallic exact same bike I just that was the one I wanted I had to have that so I had to get a contact with someone and it was Labor Day and so I left a message because I've done this before buying a used bike and having my mind I want one or the other like the Stratoliner and then the victory was gone because the place was almost closed I said I'll come early tomorrow and I'll have a decision and someone went online and got that victory so when I see a bike now and yeah I could have bought that brand new Road Glide and it would have been about 34,000 by the time I got it out the door with the pipes I want and a backrest at least and I said no not right now and then I saw that this one here and I snagged it I got it last night. I wrote it for a few hours it was real nice last night and got it in the garage I just was checking it out going over to infotainment thing and getting everything acclimated so I know what I'm doing and I got my Android Bluetooth hooked up and my presets for the radio and just kind of got familiar with everything. I live in Wisconsin in Waukesha Wisconsin and it was nice out yesterday and it's going to be it looks like it's going to be nice for a couple more days so I'm going to get the hang of riding it I filled up the gas tank ready to go and like I said I've had a bunch of Harleys and I had I bet you could basically say they're going to the Valkyries the bag or in a chopped down when they were awesome bikes balance very well but this is cool I was going to get a Chieftain but I like the way the bag stays still like a Road Glide and the shape of a fairing and the things that this guy talked about he did a good job and so I don't know the bike like he does probably I just had it for a day but I love the bike and everybody keep the shiny side up and if I have any questions I subscribe to this guy's Channel maybe you can like tell me where you got to I guess I can go to JP Cycles and get those highway bar foot pegs that he's got but I don't plan on changing too much on the bike it has a lot of stuff on it already that the other guy put on and it's cool so thanks a lot for this channel I subscribe to you and like I said everybody have a safe season and God bless everybody
Well, I seen a Indian owner who was invited to test the new road glide in Las Vegas and he had no intentions of buying one but at the end of the test right he did buy one so you know what his answer was
I mean, good for him? I've ridden several of the new Road Glides and have no interest in trading my Indian for one.
Where did you find the little round cover for that ugly screw on the tank?
Made it! A coin and a magnet!
@@cl2eep_rides thanks for the response. can't believe that Indian left that ugly screw showing on such a gorgeous bike. An Indian logo plug would have been awesome. Well done. trading my chief bobber in for a challenger for the suspendsion. Bobber killing my spine. riide safe my friend.
I have a 2017 Roadmaster. Syncing my galaxy S22 ultra to the Bluetooth is miserable. It will often get stuck connecting and I can't do anything to stop it. It seems to happen after I initially pair the phone, and if I turn the bike off (grab lunch at half way point or stop at rally spot to wait for more bikes) when I get back to riding, it's no longer paired and is stuck connecting again. There aren't strong radio signals in my area and I have a short antenna so I often am stuck riding for hours in silence. Does anyone else have this problem? And will this Otto cast thing help that? Thanks in advance.
Its not an Indian it's a harley. You don't buy a touring motorcycle to race.
What are you talking about? I'm comparing it to a touring Indian?
Been looking at getting a challenger myself, and did a trip to Colorado last year. Wishing I could've rode through like this 👍
would the A2Air Pro Wireless Android Auto Adapter work or only the U2 Carplay work? You talked about fooling the system. I have a samsung phone.
Webby baby
Literally never heard webby on a TH-cam video. Underrated as hell
1000% agree. Out here spreading the word!
They don’t kno about that C webby
For real!
I a 2017 Chieftain. I dont have to wear a helmet in Illinois. Can I hook up my Samsung phone to Ottocast?
Yes, as long as you have the 7" Ride Command. You'll still need to pair some kind of headset to the bike to get it to use CarPlay. Even a set of airpods will work.
@cl2eep_rides so the bike is paired up with the ear buds then the auto play is paired with my android? Please explain.
Do you have a Samsung phone?
I use a Pixel 7 currently, but I've had Samsungs as well.
The clutch if adjusted per Indian, 0.5 to 1.5mm freeplay is perfect. I'm not sure where you're getting the numbers you say in the video, not a single owners manual or service manual tells you it can be .59 inches. Its meant to engage the friction zone further out like a sport bike. BTW, I'm an Indian technician. These clutches are strong, and I havent seen one incorrectly set from factory, its always cause some owner is burning it or tech is messing up during pdi. People that can afford these bikes are simply not used to the slipper that's installed. It's always old dudes that go into the shop asking to "move the friction zone" towards the handle. No Bueno.
Got those numbers from Indian, so cool story. Also, I've had numerous conversations about these clutches with everyone Battle of the Baggers mechanics to guys at dealers, and it's not a question of "being strong." They're notoriously tight from the factory, and as the plates wear they get tighter. These are facts.
gta has the best driving fr
I have a black 2004 rocket 111 I have had it 11 years love it to bits nearly sold it once I also have a 2nd gen busa and have a rocket 3 gt with bags a £1000 option
I’m 6’3 and I’m looking for a couple more inches closer to me
I don't understand one (of many american) thing. You say that you work in insurance and speak with people after injuries. And even though you are riding in the t-shirt without proper protection gear???
Tank has a nice sheen to it, did you apply something to achieve that look or perhaps that's just a lighting effect? My 2016 has the blk matte finish but it's not that reflective.
Just 60k miles on wind and dirt, haha. The matte clear coat starts to fade after a while, which actually makes the bike glossier.
Cool! Im thinking Kawasaki 1700s are liquid cooled as well.
Yeah i picked up on that too. The Vaquero is water cooled although not modern anymore. Flat as a fart though even after the Ivans flash.
