Beautiful Piece Brad!❤
This was such an interesting and inspirational presentation. All of the points you mentioned in the beginning really resonated with my experiences through music education. Those 3 ways of practice you mentioned in the Q&A at the end (purple shirt) were really cool, especially the practice intuition/not thinking part. Looking forward to accepting and improving on who I am as a musician after this. Thanks
Those squeezes on the second verse!!! Great!
Rip legend!!!!
Wow!!!
Excellent!
Many thanks for sharing this excellent concert.
Been a while since I've heard this. It was my favorite along with hypnotic suggestion.
👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Your sound is Immaculate 🐐🐐🔥👍💞💕😎
Hi Brad. Unfortunately, I do not agree with many of your points. 1. Rather than "striking them cleanly", players should prefer a large slur so their high note becomes more noticeable in the texture of the ensemble. For example always slur from high C to G to make the G pop 2. I prefer playing sharp so that, in addition to the high note, I can further stick out of the texture and dynamic of the ensemble. I learned this from two great players: Eric Matthews and Javier Astroga. 3. Lets be honest, cutoffs should sound like a gunshot. You should be using so much compression that your horn flies away after the note (refer to mark zauss playing the national anthem)
Amen Brother!!!
This is from Stan Kenton's "City of Glass and This Modern World"? "A Trumpet" featuring Maynard Ferguson.
Very good guy!!!
Woah amazing 😀
Very nice!
So beautiful, You are a bunch of talented people Brad!!
you just have to love it
Good song and Brad Goode too.
very cool wow. I'm so glad you did donna lee. I'm just starting to work on it . is that a keefer trumpet ? if so my favorite
Vega trumpet.
This is so cool!
One of my favorite Chick Corea compositions. Our “combo coach” always wanted to call tunes in anything but 4/4, so this one got called a lot. You sound fantastic, as always! Your bass chops have got to be in decent shape by now (nice and calloused!).
Thank you, Jeff! Yes, I'm sort of back in practice with the bass these days. Having fun with it!
@@bradgoode5659 I tinker around with a “doghouse” Palantino that would’ve probably offended Paul Warburton to the nth degree, but it gives my face a break from the horn and stretches my ears, and hopefully helps me listen better for intonation… even if just playing simple tunes, or TRYING to play basslines from favorite Soul/R&B/HipHop tunes from my youth. I mean, I have a Simandl book, but Rufus Reid’s book (which I dig) or something MUCH simpler is typically on my bass stand! There shall be no public bass playing by moi!
Thank you
Lyrics are ready!
awesome mixing
Thank you for another great night of music!
Signing off for the night. It's a real treat to hear these archived music uploads. The depth and breadth in the selections, arrangements, and your playing is exceptional! Thank you again for a wonderful evening of music!

I like this very much. Thank you for sharing your music!
Thank you for sharing this! Might I inquire, in what instrumental order do you lay down the musical performance? The impression of simultaneity is consistent in all of your "all of one mind" multiplayer works :-) I enjoyed catching up with your TH-cam channel tonight. It is good to see and hear you playing through these pandemic times. Thank you again for uploading this!
Hi Kevin, thanks for listening!!!! I always begin with drums, and then bass second. After this, the order can vary. BG
I enjoyed this! Thank you for sharing your musical performance!
