I used to sing this number in a rock band along with a few other Queensryche tunes over the years. Geoff Tate is very expressive, especially if DeGarmo is writing the music. I enjoyed performing it, so... thanks boys.

"I'll take what's real, bring up the lights!" We all want the truth, but we've been constantly lied to and manipulated so much, we wouldn't know the truth if it was shining in our faces. And part of me thinks none of us want the truth to begin with. What good is knowing the truth, if you're unable or unwilling to do something about it? I've been so black-pilled, because "I've seen the news and there's not much I can do alone." But instead let's just have "the left" fight with "the right" and nobody will notice that it's 🔯 that pull the strings.

Talented band, Neil Kernon's Superior sound engineering and Geoff Tate range off the 📈 riding E scale like only a few men can.

This record is a masterpiece. I hope the younger generations grasp it by listening to it in its entirety. I’m a drummer and guitar player. It’s just astounding.

I heard them play this live in Portland Oregon. This song really made an impression on me. That bass line is amazing, but live…it’s on a whole new level. I can still feel it hit me in the chest 20+ years later.
