Townes ability to communicate is remarkable.

I'm a guy from Serbia, American folk music is very obscure regarding the culture that shaped my personality. It seems contradictory - capital works of art should derive from culture. But this... This is a painful, devastating deconstruction of the very core of human emotion, though it sounds quite intellectual. Imagine the magnitude of "sorrow and solitude" of this man. This is Dostoyevsky in a song. Even better than that. Absolutely, in my humble opinion, one of the best expressions of the ultimate truth ever. It broke me.

Can someone explain the line "my legs know how to love someone?" What is he trying to say there? The lines before and after this line are pretty straightforward, but to me this has always been a question....

Anyone know when/where this was recorded? Sounds like early 70s. First time I come across a non-album version.

And now I know the back story. Or at least I think so. Blaze had told my friend and I that he had an album ready to release but the master had been stolen. We asked him about it but he wouldn't elaborate. It's hard to imagine Blaze in a rage - but drugs and alcohol don't usually improve a gentle demeanor.
