Yes I usually keep my eyes open underwater especially when filming. I always make sure to limit my time, as in I usually stop when my eyes start to hurt, then rinse my eyes, & use lots of eyedrops after!

@@MermaidMoxieMarina Thanks for your answers, I would like to ask you something else, if you don't mind, do you wear blue contact lenses to swim? At the beginning of the video when you are out of the water, your eyes are brown, but in the images that appear under the water they are blue.

@@ramonperez6258My eyes are actually green with some hazel, if you check out my Instagram @mermaidmoxiemarina there are a lot of still photos of me! Because of my eye color, lighting effects them a lot, making them look more or less blue.

@@MermaidMoxieMarina Incredible is true, your eyes change with the light, you are lucky having those eyes and I love the color they acquire under water, very clear blue. I'm going to subscribe to your channel to follow your eyes open underwater, you have me in love. Never close them underwater, please.

My eyes usually only burn after hours and hours in the water, always make sure to clean your eyes with fresh water after & a lot a lot of eyedrops! I usually feel nothing by the morning.

I originally was using Flex & Seal Spray. I have also used clear marine seal paint, but its a lot harder to work with & more expensive. I think the Flex & Seal is ideal with real shells because it makes them a little more plastic like, but since you're using plastic shells you may want to use a plastic specific paint & sealant! :) Hope that helps.
