What is really impressive is that how ex Soviet Union European States that was occupied by Russians after the second world war during the cold war. Has managed to improve and better themselves way beyond their occupier by 2023. Poland is one of them. Sure there is still things to improve but compared to Russia. It is the classic view of how the child surpasses the abusive parent once it gets independence and freedom.
