Milwaukee Jobsite backpack review. Version 2.
From the typhoon, I got a Falcon 3. It's perfect and have been running it for the last 2 months.
I’ve been carrying my impact drivers on the sides off my mackpack for years. I made some notches so they can hang there with the lid closed. It works great.
Welp, I ordered a Typhoon backpack! HA. So much for being satisfied. Love this bag, want something a bit bigger and a bit more normal looking when carrying. I'm sure I'll sacrifice some convenience.
great ideas thanks
That is a sweet setup. I like canning a rolly poly type bag to for anything “extra” (water bottle, stuff, tools, bits, etc.
Yeah, agreed. I had it on another bag that never worked out, so it was just sitting around anyways.
Nice set up. Long time Max guy here. Mongo is awesome and I’ve somehow got 2 x Pygmy falcon 2 bags. They are epic.
Thanks man.
Very simple yet amazingly effective. Gonna copy this. Thanks!
What tool did you use to cut the post heights shorter? Did you use a jig to get all 4 posts the same height/length? Awesome idea 💡 thanks for sharing😊👍.
I measured with a tape measure and then cut them off with an angle grinder. Steady hand, grasshopper!
Оличная система хранения!
I’m still using this table today. It’s awesome.
Could you fill the drawers up with screws and they work ok??
Yep. The way the drawers are designed, screws will not fall out, even if the box is tipped over.
I had one delivered today!!! I love it but I’ve filled it will other bits like kreg jig, drill bits hole saws etc, so I’ve just ordered a screw systainer seperately!!
In my opinion, the old gen tote is a pretty underrated tote. I know they are designed to sit at the very top and not designed to be overloaded, but I think it's sturdy enough to do many things. The new one is improved to a certain degree that it feels like it will be emptied quite often depending on your day to day basis, while the older tote can be adjusted to your needs long term.
Agree. I use one of the deep ones on top of my CT26 for vac accessories, 5m hose, etc. works a treat.
Is the waistband stretchy?
Just a bit. Maybe an inch of stretch.
I tried the 3 way Polk LSiM703s in here. Too much bass. I only needed like 5 minutes to be done with that experiment. No reason to have 30 lb 3 way speakers in a room the size of a minivan.
Never thought of Kirby to test audio 😂
Love that song! Hahahahah. If a system makes AceRock sound better, we all win.
@@leodesforges161 truer words have never been spoken 🔥
Honestly, hip hop tends to sound best if the bass is dialed in: tight, punchy. The bass in this room is really tight. Not big, not boomy. I worked hard to minimize that boom, so what I get is oddly refined. Funny effect with bass heavy music.
Respect for cool toolkit 🫡
Superb..
bonjour pourriez vous me donner le nom ou reference de votre poche outils sans ceinture ? merci bon boulot ingenieucx en plus
When you walk do they sound like snow pants?
A little bit, yes. Not close to as much as actual nylon snow pants, but more than jeans.
12/14/22: update. It’s T2 weather again. Pants still alive, but close to death. I’ve switched back to Duluth firehose stretch pants again. This time in “carpenter” vs cargo. They look awesome, fit really well in 36x36 (this is the first time I’ve gone with 36 length and it’s great. 35” would be good too, but happy for the length as they keep drafts out at the cuff). So, the T2 update: I’d buy them again but only if they change the fit, pockets, belt loops. Which I don’t see them doing.
Do the waist stretch? Or no stretch? Thank you for your video 👍
Yes. There is a BIT of stretch in the waist. I’d say about an inch of stretch.
The customer service ruins everything
Is it bad?
@@leodesforges161 I’ve had some bad moments that really pissed me off. They did make up for it recently though. Love the clothing though
That’s a really cool idea for a fold-up mobile work station.
I just purchased a pair in my normal size of 32x30. They are tight and short, I'm 5'8" and 155 pounds. The pockets are terrible. Will stick with my FXD WP-3.
Sweet setup, would you recommend the sustainer drawer on go with the tstak?
Tstak for drawers. The price alone is impossible to beat.
@@leodesforges161 thanks I appreciate it
Love this setup. Simple and convenient. Great idea.
That rolling scaffold is a great idea !
This is awesome!
Great video! Exactly what I need in my garage. How did you cut the metal posts down to size (SawzAll metal blade)? Did you put some kind of end cap on the newly cut tops of the posts? How did you keep the top from wobbling .. in other words, the posts had to be dead-on to ensure the top stays flat?
I would use a grinding wheel if I did it today. I got 3 out of 4 cut perfect height. And used the end caps that came in the scaffold (I just popped them out of the cut sections). The one I cut too short I just glued and screwed a fender washer into the plastic top cap. It’s been good ever since.
3 years later: pants are still kicking. Probably 200 days of work and they have some tears, but all are sowable. Knees are still good. I blew out the crotch seam a year ago. I had it professionally repaired. Zippers and Velcro are holding up well. if the fit was better (for me) I’d consider buying another pair at this point. Based on their durability, they are a great value.
Have you tried FXD work pants?
@@michaelcottrell7545 nope
Hey Leo, what work pants would you recommend at this point?...durability and adequate pockets being the main concern for me. I did buy a pair of Wrangler ATG from Tractor Supply but really lacking in leg pockets although seem to be very comfortable and durable...thank you!
I’m liking the Duluth “stretch dry on the fly” pants and shorts. Pocket layout is awesome and materials is very good. Downside: they are not warm at all (which makes them great above 40 degrees). I wear a thin base layer once it gets around freezing.
Never tried Festool think it’s worth the dough
Depends on which tools. The dust collectors are definitely worth it. As are their specialty tools like the domino.
Man you are putting into words what I’ve been thinking man. This video should be more popular .
Thank you. I love this stuff.
If it's functional, it's not "crappy". It works well, loads quickly, gives access. I say mission accomplished. Well done.
It appears the company has not addressed the belt loop issue.
The Hendrix of tool organization 👍👍🇨🇦
Update: 7/25/2021. Crotch sewing has completely released exposing another weakness of these pants. I’ll plan on contacting the company to see if they will do anything to help me. Based on this issue and the others, I won’t buy another pair.
Would you say a 36 in Duluth could be a 36 in these as well, or do you recommend sizing up?
How long have you had them?
BackgroundNoisex I sized up. But I’d try your regular size first.
Marc Possoff almost 3 years now.
Thanks for the update. Crotch seams are always where pants fail on me, first so that's my #1 concern.
Any updates thanks for the video actually got insite from someone who works 😂😂
Thanks for the video man!
nice Milwaukee bag, got the same one lol
👍 I hav have a similar setup for cabinet installation in England. What are the tool belts? Especially the first one. Thanks
Great thoughts.👍
I just bought this same set up yesterday and then I came across this. Excellent ideas!
If you want to get more neodymium magnets for a better price check out AliExpress sure it takes a month to get here but for something you don't need right away you might as well save money
Outstanding man! I bought the same one with the same intent as a rolling table. But you really took it to the next level!
Nice ideas. I need to put more thought into my systainer setups. Thanks for the vid!
There's the new sys3 toolbox, it's basically a real t-lock with open top. I'm disappointed with this one because you can't stack your regular systainers on top of it.
Want to THANK YOU for the FESTOOL intro. I love it, not just for tools, how about kitchen items that clutter your drawers, make-up, crafts etc. alot more. You know it is a safe, profoundly strong body that keep its contents safe. Love it. Thanks, Kelley P.S. Huge fan.
I'm having a hard time coughing up the coin for those 3 drawer sortainers, which I really like the looks of. Would you do it again? Are they holding up OK? I have a systainer that came with my Domino and the plastic seems very thin and brittle. Thanks for the video.
Hard to say. I got it as part of a kit of systainers so it was a bit cheaper, but I’ve been shifting a lot of my tools over to tstak/versastack, largely because of their cheap drawer systems. That said, I use my 3 drawer systainer every day and it’s a pleasure to use and ultimately more polished and compact than the Tstak. Even a simple thing like the white color makes a huge improvement in daily use.

@@allthegearuk Thanks! I ran across those too. Apparently impossible to buy within the US. Also I think I read somewhere that those drawers have no stops and are not suitable for being inside a vehicle.
I have been using Systainers for about twenty years, never had a problem. They appear to be thin plastic but I think they are a glass reinforced nylon. Much stronger. Its the same as most quality power tools are made out of. I can't tell you what a joy it is to have your tools in Systainers, it's just the best system.
@@benschmolze1266 the drawers click shut securely for travel. Also they are plain ABS so not the best for construction site works but great for finish carpentry, installers and the like that will be able to take greater care.
time for an update.
