Why are the vestments blue? Those are for use in the Mozarabic rite or toledan rite of the Catholic Church for Marian feasts not the Anglican Church. First Sunday of advent should be violet.

Great sermon.

Thank you Saint Martin’s for your faithful mission to those of us not able to attend.

Excellent, amazing detail, so much we are not exposed too. We simply didn't know, at least I did not, what is covered in these lectures.

I watched yesterday, and was so happy to be a small part of the beautiful send-off service for Russ and Laura. The music and choir were spectacular, and Russ ‘ last sermon was exceptional. Congratulations on retirement, they will be dearly remembered and loved.

I was inspired by every sermon❤

The one person missing today is your sweet precious sister Shawn Levenson. She went to heaven December 3rd, 2023. But the sun is shining today here in Birmingham Alabama and that has to be Shawn's beautiful smile as she watches this with me. Bless you Russell.

Dr. Levenson, you are a gifted speaker and priest. I watch you every week, online, from another city. I was a member at St. Martins for a long time and raised my children there. The one thing I wish you wouldn’t do, is make fun of people who don’t attend regularly. It’s the people who don’t come, you should want to reach out to and make them feel welcomed. It feels shameful. When I got a divorce, going to church alone made me sad. It still does. Please give some thought to not being sarcastic about people not in attendance. To someone going through tough times, the last thing they need, is another reason to feel bad about themselves. I wish you well in your retirement. You have touched many lives for so many years. God bless you! 🙏
