I too loved being a child again for a little while. Enid Blyton stories surround me with safety, security and contentment. The same feelings I felt as a child lying in bed while Mum read to me. Thank you.

You know these children are amazingly lucky, they talk and talk, flash their touches around all over the place, never seem to have to go to the toilet, no matter how long they have to wait and hide, likewise with coughs and sneezes. Everyone just seems to pass them by without noticing anything amiss. They always seem to have money in their pockets too.I love and adore these books, always have.
Actually they have all been done and are on TH-cam, the other books in this series. I love these versions best though. What magical stories these are, they give me the same feelings I had many years ago when I was a little girl. Safe, secure and like anything is possible.
It’s strange but I’ve got my nose out of joint with the “ clever son” on behalf of the family staying at the castle. Obviously the son has put quite a few tricks in the place to scare them off. Plus, what’s the go with them not answering the bells ect! I know it’s silly, and it’s only fiction but I feel like that anyway.
