@_mccaff_ you would have to bring the truck to my shop in Chilliwack bc canada. Lol it's not too hard, I just cut a slice off the side of the pan and mig welded it shut. Pretty easy job
Great job, i got play on inlet clutch shaft. Could It's causing rubbing noise when I'm off gas pedal? It looks no play at all after that operation. Please respond. Greets🎉
@boski112 play is normal, the shaft is supported by the pilot bearing

Did you connect the campus wires together and then hook it to the purple wire or did you just use one of the campus wires and connect to the purple wire?

The truck is cam bus but the year of the motor you use is one wire how did you connect them?
Do have a more info in depth on the wiring for the 4wd hi/ low and to get the cluster to work, im not sure which wires to use off the pcm off the doner Silverado
@@adrianortega5 serial data connects to the obd port or where the colorado pcm was. I cut apart the original harness and separated the existing transfer case wiring. It is not connected to the v8 pcm aside from the 4x4 low wire
@ do you know which pin is the serial data wire from the ls computer I connect to the obd wire for the Colorado and for the 4x4 I did separate the wires from the harness but I don’t know where to connect the 5 wires from the 4wheel, which is brown, brown and white, purple and the connector that goes to the actuator on front diff is a pink and black
Since I probably cut them where I wasn’t supposed to but those are the wires I ending up having after connecting all the connectors
I'm doing a 6.0 ls swap on a 2007 hummer h3 . I'm now trying to figure out the guages.. Which wire on the computer did you connect the purple wire to? I'm using an aftermarket LS harness.
@@JodyKrisher serial data lines all connect to the obd port. That's where I made the connection
@@drewmurray2583 So you ran only the serial data lines to the from ecu to chassis side to get gauges to work? aside from fuel gauge sounds like you ran that one separate, just curious all the other swaps ive seen looks like they retain the colorado ecu.

Why did you use the 4cyl. Xfer case and not the Silverado transfer case? Won’t it fit?

Gotcha. Thanks I wonder if the Colorado servo/ sensors would adapt to sierra xfer case? I have both but was hoping to avoid cutting the pan. I like the idea of using the Colorado components.
Drew can you shoot me a list of what you had to do to get the 6.0 to work in the 6.4 truck. I can do all the fab work I just need to know what to wire and such to make everything work. I have a pristine 2010 6.4 and have a 18,000 built from the oil pan up 6.0 and want to swap. Let me know please
@philliphafer8688 you need someone there with good wiring knowledge and access to the diagrams for both trucks. Basically what I did was make the 6.0 run standalone with a simplified harness . Ground, power, ignition and start. I left the 6.4 computer and harness in the truck and just connected all the sensors I wanted in parallel to the 6.0 ones. Added the boost pressure sensor to the intake elbow. Make sure you use the right flex plate etc, I remember there was a difference between the 6.4 and 6.0. Remember the wire colors don't always correspond, you have to pay close attention to the wiring diagrams
My 06 Canyon Z85 is just RWD 5-speed with a LS swap. Mines cammed to hell and a bunch of other mods. Check me out.
So i am looking to do the same. I'm getting an engine tomorrow that's just the engine, most of the wireing harness but no pcm. So will the 6.4 pcm and wiring harness work. Also what other tips do ya have
@@nathanmettenburg2023 you need a 6.0 ficm and pcm and all of the engine bay harnesses. Have to make the 6.0 run standalone

nice built! your the first one like me to want to keep the fan.....what is come from the fan and thermo you use on your swap? mine is 6L 2011 that gonna work whit OEM E67 tune on oem LH9 5.3 map....the fan look very close to the rad....i was thinking using oem LH9 thermo that is more closer to the pump than the rad.....no over heat issu whit no shroud?
The fan I used was the original from the 2900 4 cylinder engine. No shroud it cools just fine

Hell yea, nice score, thats gonna be a fun lil motor for some cool car, (truck)…..any plans for what kinda vehicle its gonna go into yet, supercharged LS swaps are a blast….i have a LSA supercharged 370” LQ9 in my nova and a vortech v-3 (centrifugal) supercharged 4.8 in my c10….soon to be swapped out to the 370 when i finish the 408 for my nova……..always gotta go bigger….but even at 370” and 4.8 they are both a hoot to drive and honestly im in no hurry to change them up yet simply because they both run great and if it aint broke dont try to fix it…..but the 408” stroker keeps staring me down every time i go into that damn garage😅😅😅

@ awesome…..i had 2) squarebody suburbans an ‘81 k10 and a ‘86 k20……the k20 was a turd but that ‘81 half ton was a battle wagon and took whatever you could throw at it….that k20 couldnt even move out of its own way if it had too…..both were 350 trucks but the half ton had a black 290hp goodwrench crate (replacement) motor in it and i think thats what made it so magical……granted this was over 20yrs ago before the LS swap craze hit the world….

Since it has the license plate HP 0674, I feel like this needs a turbo to get it to that 674hp
Usually, it’s third gear it usually starts to go or first not so much second automatic transmissions, but then again different transmit mission set ups for different results transverse versus conventional??
