this has been a rough season on the technical side of things. Also, Im not saying the writers should get 20 lashes or whatever but idk if i'd buy them a beer. Story telling has been weak sauce both campaign and seasonal.

Since i love Destiny so much, i try hard not to be a Bungie shill, i.e. accepting valid criticism of them while still defending them. That said, the game is pretty rough right now. The ruined-speaker simulator is probably my least favorite feature atm

I and most of my clan are big fans of swording bosses whenever possible/practical. It has a much more visceral feeling. Ive been playing Destiny for a while and the ol "stand in a well and deeps from range" gets boring after a while. prefer the "6 guardians with pointy sticks" strat 😁

Last Wish & Riven have always been my favorites. Poor girl cant catch a break, shes been getting sworded for literal years now

He had it coming lol I spent hours in there Day 1 and ran out of time due to fireteam/real-world issues, so Im finding my catharsis haha

I feel that, and Same. I hear all the talk about easiest Day 1 ever and I still didn't clear and sometimes feel down about it but hey , I'd never made it to boss encounter on a Day 1 before, so that's something. Failure is an opportunity for growth ... or something idk lol

​@@Zavalas_SMT we use tractor on Riven when we use swords. idk why we didnt here, it makes sense. we will do it on the next run. Im fully aware of the numbets, i stay up to date on patch notes, probly just cause it was 3am and i was baked. just havin fun. i want that 1phase tho

tractor was actually terrible. Yes, it has the greater debuff but with all his jumping around the greater debuff didnt matter. However, we didn't stop there and did actually find a reliable 1 phase with Lament. I'll be editing the video tonight/tomorrow

Yeah, I've already talked with the clan about how we can crank even more numbers out of this. Combination of technique and finesse. Not that mine is perfect either lol but i broke 3 million

I do not think yourself as an individual needs to complete the raid, it unlocked to the community when the raid was first defeated, similar to Dreaming City Curse and Last Wish. It is a girthy quest chain. I believe you start it by scanning three dead exos on Europa. these are somewhat hidden, but upgrades with Variks make them easier to find.

i am constantly torn lmao ... i love Lament , its one of my favorite weapons, its almost always on me. BUT i need to change it up to keep it fresh

That said, i will have GM videos next week. After we get gilded, we will be streaming GM carries for the first time, if youre into that. And theres a ton of raid videos i wanna make, I LOVE to raid. Anyways, i wish you best of luck in your endeavors. Soloing dungeons is such a thrill. My best advice i think is dont give up. it can get discouraging., but when that clear happens oh man it feels good

Lament can be tricky in endgame. Having high Resilience + Restoration + intrinsic healing from weapon makes it doable, but it still takes finesse. The bait and switch Cataclysmic is viable anywhere, it is one of the largest damage buffs currently, especially if HEF + FoM are both proccing at same time. Raids and GMs are both endgame but i build differently for them. these loadouts can work in raids/other dungeons but GMs ... eh maybe but i dont typically bring smgs on GMs. i have other videos on here of me Lamenting other dungeon bosses, thats totally doable

I did wipe there several times lol. When i dodge out of his Fire AoE, damage reduction from Omni slows the DoT intensity so i can make my escape. I practiced this numerous times to get the timing down. I did it in the first dps phase here. So what does my dumdum ass do in final phase ? immediately dodge into the center pillar lmaoooo Also do you see the exploder hiding behind Zulmak right before i kill him? Thats why im acting all weird in that part, because that one little fkr also wiped me numerous times. He almost did it again this time too

The subclass Super intrinsically weakens and suppresses. So after detonating the Super for the bump in overall dps, immediately after he will be both take more damage from my weapons and (hopefully) be a bit less stompy. It seems to me that different bosses have different cooldown timers. The Kell Echo, for instance, seems to be able to stomp damn near inifinitely ( It is possible to Lament her, just a bit more tricky)

Thank You I appreciate that. I used to do so in older videos but had moved away from it. I like the idea of at the end. There are always lots of wipes; sometimes i forget things. Not all wipes are failure to execute, just doing it over and over trying to make it look cool or go faster or both haha (but no ... srsly lol) I enjoy buildcrafting so id love to share , but i also love how Destiny is a giant learning circle if you vibe with it. Ive learned a lot and tried to share it back

Thanks for asking! Im leveraging the engram drop from the Bosun (the Vandal Ultra). The very beginning of the encounter I try to use my 3 shot tether to kill the Shank Ultra right away so im free to engage the Bosun without getting sniped. If I end up getting bosun instead, it still works out cause the engram drop allows me to throw another super into the shank right away. Where it gets dicey is running solo. I tend to need super for boss dps so i dont get stuck in the room forever doing 4 phases. Its slightly different every time; how it shakes out after a dmg phase. Before Void 3.0, i used to drop a deadfall tether about 1/2 - 3/4 of the way through boss damage so that A) it would debuff him and B) hopefully my timing was good and it would catch the 2 Ultras as they came out of the door, making for an easy(er) kill TLDR - safe to blow super on bosun because he will give it right back to you

thank you! lots of hours practicing. The idea started with me wanting to do a run to kinda showcase crafted weapons but then i legit fell in love with this combo. the shotgun doesn't even have enhanced perks yet since its a second crafting. if anything, that just highlights how good that shotgun is overall in addition to how good it is "out of the box", so to speak

i used to have a subtle calamity like this. feels great to have it back. + land tank !
