One thing we learned from our Dad was never take your time if you can “fast Dad” it. Watch as we work on all kinds of projects, the only catch is our garages are 600 miles apart.

I'll be doing this soon. I watched the floor riser build video where you clamped metal between two pieces of wood. Would you provide me the measurements that I can make my own please. I'm working on a theme park worker budget. And I need to cut costs on my 47 cj2a metal repair.
@@Whitecranekungfu I can those are All in storage at the moment. But I’ll get them out
What a great idea... the IR detector. I have one and will be trying it on my own misfire problem. I can add that you can get those things for something like $15. I use mine for cooking. You can also check for heat leaks from your house--- if you find a portion of an exterior wall or of a ceiling below the attic, the inside of which is colder than other wall or ceiling panels, then maybe it needs better insulation.
@@moc5541 they have come down so far on pricing. There was a time when our fire department bought one $25,000 and it was a lower optioned unit. What a difference 25 years will make. Great multiple uses good suggestions. Thanks for watching

So far I have watched at least a dozen different videos about a PO300 misfire code on a later model Chevy Silverado and I saw a dozen different problems that have caused it. The 5.3 in my 05 Sierra is now in the metal bin and a 307 from a 1972 Chevelle, with a set of 202 heads and a camshaft from a mercruiser marine engine is sitting in its place hooked up to a 700R4 transmission. Just a head up you can actually take the fender off without taking the bunper off as the headlight comes out with the fender just to save. Little time!
Good info, didn’t think of that.
The engine harness unplugs with 3 or 4 plugs on the frame to separate it from the body harness. I know it was your first time but you made this job a lot harder than it is. Once you learn what needs to come off and what can stay taking this engine out is literally a 90 minute job
Thanks for the input, I always find out I could save time after doing a job.
