Try it again with the newest patch of the game. It will give you at least 100fps. The devs fixed the lag in latest patch

I wanted to bring another potential contender for City Skylines 2 to play the game a higher settings and higher resolutions , and that is the AMD Radeon Pro W7900, and AMD Radeon Pro W7800, the W7900 has 48GB of VRAM, and the W7800 has 32GB of VRAM both of which is more than the RTX 4090, and RX 7900 XTX, the AMD Radeon Pro cards also have 3 display port 2.1a, 1 enhanced display port 2.1 which has more than double the Gbs with 80 Gbs compared to 32Gbs of 1.4a. Display port 2.1 can support 4K gaming up to 240hz, 8K 120hz, and can even support up to 16K resolution, so it maybe something worth looking into.

Oh wooow, I need my soup boiled on top of 4090...hitting almost 80 ℃ and not delivering >100 fps even with the use of deep learning algorithms and AI at 4K ...and paying more than 3500$, what a crap. In 2016 u only needed 700$ to play AAA games at these specs and native res. Now u need to pay more than 4 TIMES to NOT match the performance of a high-end Pascal gpu(considering year 2016 of AAA games), that's crazy! These consumers bruv..

0:25 The fact that this screenshot literally looks worse than Age of Empires III (2005). Their effort into the terrain and terrain graphics was super low. 20 FPS on an RTX 4090 and you see tiling of the rock texture on the mountains, something that was solved almost 20 years ago with stochastic sampling and other techniques.

Something is definitely wrong with his system. I’ve seen plenty of TH-cam videos of this game with way more detail on the map and getting 70+ FPS with the same build might want to throw a couple extra fans in there😂

I have 16gb ram, rtx 2070 overclocked model and a i5 10600kf. Running at ultra same as yours but getting 30 smooth fps, but then when my city goes above 4,000 it drops to 20 fps which is very noticeable. Since your system is 100x better than mine idk how your getting 21 fps in the beginning with just empty fields.

So if I play with my GTX 1050ti I can expect no more than 1fps? Lol
