How damn fun is it to melt metals!?
A furnace, a crucible, some wreckage ...
Fun is guaranteed!

Cast aluminum in a cardboard tube
Cast aluminum in a cardboard tube: I found a cardboard tube and immediately thought I'd try pouring molten aluminum into it. Who knows if the cardboard can be used as a disposable mold?

Beach Sand Mold
Beach Sand Mold: Summer has arrived, longing for the sea, the beach and having fun with the sand.... I found some beach moulds, but the sand I mean is not the white one but the red foundry one! How will my molds come?
From Lead to the Composition of Stars
From Lead to the Composition of Stars: I have a small lead star, I think I'll use it as a matrix for a composition made up of many small stars... maybe then I'll also make an aluminum frame.
Triple Scrap Ingot
Triple Scrap Ingot: I end up with three cans of scraps from previous metal castings: one is filled with brass, one is a mixture of copper and brass, and the third is filled with copper. I think I'll try to make a single ingot, pouring the contents of the three jars one on top of the other. Will a single ingot come or three separate ingots? Let's find out!
Triple Chain
Triple Chain: Today I will try to make a big chain with three different metals and each component of the chain will have a different geometric shape... what will come out?
Hand Ingot
Hand Ingot: Today I really want to play with aluminum.. but what could I do with it? I have a beautiful black and shiny plexiglass plate: I could make a metal plate, perhaps with a personal touch.
Restyling Amaterasu

Restyling Amaterasu: My lovely furnace has seen better days and is in need of some refurbishment work..... giving it a new look!
Brass Treasure (From Trash to Treasure)
Brass Treasure (From Trash to Treasure): Some madman threw some beautiful pipe fittings with flow meters and taps into the bin... luckily I noticed them otherwise all this magnificent brass would have been lost! I'll make a shiny ingot of it.
Zinc Tooth
Zinc Tooth: My Megalodon tooth collection needs to be implemented! Which material is best suited to give life to a new metal tooth? After aluminum and brass, I think I'll try zinc...
Reduction of the Large Aluminum Foil
Reduction of the Large Aluminum Foil: I have had this large and cumbersome sheet of aluminum for some time now, the time has come to reduce it a bit in volume and put it in the pile with the other ingots
Double Alloy
Double Alloy: Today the experiment I want to do consists of two parts: in one I will try to give life to a metal alloy made up of 10 parts of copper and one of aluminium, in the second I will do the opposite, ten parts of aluminum and only one of copper. how will these two ingots come out? will they be beautiful? will they be fragile? let's find out!
Zinc Treasure
Zinc Treasure: When you need to recover some zinc, your best friend is the tire specialist: what better mine than the old tire balancing weights? Unfortunately, the small pieces of zinc are often dirty, painted and encrusted. We need to give it a good clean!
The Challenge
The Challenge: A colleague gave me a nice aluminum rod, probably a piece of an awning, challenging me that according to him Amaterasu, my furnace, would not be able to melt it all at once.... Is he right or wrong?
Pi of Aluminum
Pi of Aluminum: I am very fascinated by Pi, the constant that represents the ratio between the diameter of the circle and its circumference, a number that is infinite and at the same time enclosed in a circle. I think it will be a lot of fun to turn some scrap aluminum into a nice Pi!
Hammer Repaired with Brass
Hammer Repaired with Brass: An old rusty hammer head has been around my workshop for some time now... it's time to do something about this poor tool. I'll try to make a nice shiny brass handle!
Satisfying video!
can you stir them together while they are still hot?
Nice
Spray dry graphite lubricant on the mold and heat it till it dries. That's a nifty release agent from my own experience.
Wat is the dust you yoes
what was the coating ? plaster of paris??
For me its not what's on the surface but what is the porosity level inside the casting. I need to rough cast copper for machining it into parts later. I don't want any bubbles in the casting. It would be great if you would cut some ingots in half so we could really see what's going on inside. Thanks
Thank You for the insight keep posting knowledge.....
Nice piece to melt, good for the stack❤
That’s cool. You should clean it up and see what it looks like.
That was cool!! Sorry the sand fell out. That's a creepy Keeper ❤
Hey brother we missed you this week
Next time you try to close the top of the tube, so no fire start.
Thoroughly enjoy your experiments. As such, the results are always interesting and worthy as 'art'. I have a lot of casting 'texture' experiments planned, and hope to do many 'soon'.
Nice! You always make such interesting things - doing stuff that others don't always do. Keep it up.
Shine it up. It might just be a work of art
If you can shoot fireworks out of cardboard box or tube why not aluminum melt. Just saying. ❤
You are ready for a sandcastel on the beach!
Im not sure of you saw it, but my 7 link chain video is up. 🎉🎉 th-cam.com/video/tT2pWRUeqAk/w-d-xo.html
Great! A star of stars!
That's cool!!! Great job!!
Very cool!!! I like that!!!
⭐
That’s cool. Great job.
Looks pretty cool
Fire and flames for great ingot! Great work.
Wow can't believe it work . Awesome ingot
I love ingots ❤
Great idea! You made a very artistic work!
Melted, It took me four tries over several months, but I finally made a working aluminum ingot mold out of cast aluminum. I wanted to say thank you for the inspiration from your video all those months (has it been a year?) ago.
Excellent work and a really cool idea.
Great idea… ‼️👏👏‼️
Very cool!!!
Good job! It's funny that I am prepping a lost foam casting chain for a future video 🤣
I'm little late but it worth it. Nice chains could improve maybe?
😎
Nice job
It'is another artistic idea. Great!
Another original Nice!
Looks really cool, mate.
Another awesome hand down.
Like 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Great work, your tool is as new!
What did you coat the styrofoam with?
This whole time I thought your forge was a oil burner. Nice restoration!
Nice
Well done
Looks awesome!! Congrats on 1K!!!
One thousand! Awesome! Glad to be a part!
