What a great idea to do a mural in that narrow space! It reminds me of a charcoal drawing or a pen & ink sketch. The color of the limewash is perfect background. I too struggle to know when my art pieces are "done." Often I keep reworking it way too much when I should have just left it "unfinished." I think that's an artists dilemma.😊

Interesting fact The long life-span and slow and regular growth rate of some species can be used to date events (lichenometry). Lichens are a keystone species in many ecosystems and benefit trees and birds.
