Regarding stablecoins for currencies other than the USD, I'm surprised that there hasn't been more interest in coins pegged to the Swiss Franc. (DCHF got some attention for a little while, but that's about it.) Switzerland has a reputation for being economically conservative, and the Swiss Franc has retained its value very well when compared against other major currencies.

I agree socialism is useless without an overriding sense of human compassion and empathy, it won't work if you try to force people to care for each other. It has to be organic. I don't regard that as spirituality however, which seeks to transcend human experience. Important discussion all the same
