Where can i find this sheet?
Thanks for sharing... What type of printer is needed for sublimation?
thickness of the aluminum piece is 1mm
Hey! Do you have any tutorial on everything? Like how to print the sublimation paper until the end where magnets are putted? I appreciate it. Your videos are great!
Can you theoretically print on both sides? Walgreens, Shutterfly, etc. don't seem to offer that as an option and that's what I need. Also, when you talked about magnetizing, you can actually magnetize the whole plate? When I went to Walgreens, I noticed that their "metal" photos didn't stick to my neodymium magnets so I'd love to figure out how to magnetize them. Thanks!
Any time you reheat a sublimated product, the image fades. Since you would have to heat the plate twice, your image quality would suffer quite a bit. I would not recommend it. These are just metal signs, not aluminum, so I'm able to stick a magnet to the wall, then the plate sticks to the magnet.
@toooldtobegaming8868 I'm happy to hear about the magnet working. I'm just trying to print simple calendar days with no real images. I'd take the risk but nobody seems to do it :(
What kind of press is that?
Hix 25 Twin
I see the twmp was at 400. What about time? And pressure?
Where can I find that picture to download ?
That was a scan of a vintage post card. Unfortunately, I'm unable to find it now.
Thanks for sharing your knowledge. Where do you buy the aluminum sheets from? Are they pre-treated already and ready to transfer straight on to it?
These are from JDS Industries. SKU: UN5955 11" x 14" Unisub White Steel Panel with Radius Corners
Thank you so much for your in depth tutorial!! Everything is so clear and well explained. Thank you thank you!
Where can I find the picture you used? I love this picture!
It was a scan from a vintage post card. I'm not sure I can find it.
Where can you get the steel blanks from or aluminum blanks and dome? Could you demonstrate how you put magnets on them?
Sir , what's the name of your printer
Epson ET-15000
what is the thickness of the aluminum sheet you used??
The tin is a little under 1mm thick
Hey great video, if I don't have a sublimation printer can I just order it from somewhere with my custom designs?
Hustle Ninjas did a great walkthrough of a place I like to use th-cam.com/video/Lm0UB_WFaik/w-d-xo.html
sir please ask me how to order this machine
Great video! What printer are you using?
Epson ET 15000
@@toooldtobegaming8868 Thanks! I use the f170 but hate the size limitations. What ink do you use and have you ever had any issues with color correctness?
@cabcabs I use Cosmos Ink, and use their color profiles. Some of the colors can be a little extra vivid at times, but constantly looks pretty great.
@@toooldtobegaming8868 Thank you!
where do you get the blank tins
Coastal business supplies.
anyway you'd be willing to share you sensor panel template?
I would love to, not sure how to though. It's mostly the Gadgets skin from here github.com/SilverAzide/Gadgets

your case says 60C GPU on idle? Might wanna remove the GPU from vertical position lol
I was going back and forth to it for rendering. It runs 45c idle most of the time.
whats the approx cost on the tower
In the 3k range I think.
I love the panel you added! looks sharp!
the hyte y60 has a lcd panel???????
No. I added it. 12.6 VSDISPLAY
yo wtf thats actually cool asf
Ahh, so I see you sold a kidney
What machine are u using?
My heat press is a Hix 25 Twin.
It looks fantastic... What temperature have you set for printing?
I think the press was 400F.
Out of curiosity, why do you press the panel upside down with the sublimation paper below the panel? Why dont you press it with the paper on top so the heat penetrates directly from the paper onto the panel? Ive seen this in many videos, just wanted to know the reason why many people do it this way...Thank you!!!
I get more consistent results this way. I think it heats the metal more evenly. I tend to get light and dark spots the other way.
subscribed for the name of the channel...
Do you do coaching
I would really like to, but I have a Chiari Malformation, which is a fancy way of saying my brain is falling out of my head, which has made me less than reliable. It's the main reason I haven't made any more video's.
@@toooldtobegaming8868 I am sorry to hear that hope you get better soon
So sorry about your medical problem. A nightmare to live with I am sure. I came across your video because I am starting up a business where it would be better if I bought the coating myself and sprayed it on the metal I shaped myself as nobody sells blanks the dimensions and shape I am looking for. I was wondering if you might be able to guide me with specific phrases and products to Google for and buy. Like .. before aluminum is sprayed with the coating does it need to be prepped in any way and would you happen to know what this poly powder thing is called specifically. Sorry I am such a novice at this. Am watching a thousand TH-cam videos trying to figure out what I need to do to start my business. Best of luck with your medical situation. I feel bad you're dealing with that.
@@megapint8598 I don't have a lot of info on the process, but I have watched several videos on it. Do a search for sublimation powder coating process, and it should be a good start. From what I have found out about it, spend a little extra upfront for your equipment, and it could save you a lot of money in materials later. Good luck on your new venture, and thank you for the kind words. Hopefully, I'll be back soon.
@@toooldtobegaming8868 Thanks a million for your advice! I look forward to seeing you bounce back soon with the best of health :)
Excellent video! I don’t know anything really about these machines but I’m thinking of getting one. Can this machine also do T shirts? Do you need an inlet printer for the transfer? Any recommendation on the brand or model of the machine? Thanks in advance!
This really looks great 👍
Way cool!
I am getting a white area on the edge where the tape was on the metal sign, but not under each piece of tape. Can anyone help me as to what is causing the problem? I have ruined so many 10" and 11" signs. If anyone can help, I will love you forever!
Have you tried letting the sign cool for a while before removing the paper?
Amazing results! Do you suggest a clear coat after?
Thank you. Clear coat hasn't been needed. They are pretty durable.
What’s a good place to get the metal signs?
I'm using 11" x 14" Unisub White Steel Panel with Radius Corners from JDS Industries in this video. I recommend looking around locally for a small powder coating shop to partner with that can shoot poly coating. It will give you a lot more options on material, sizes, and shapes, plus it's always nice to toss business to your community.
Why is my lamination curling up?????
Are you using the same laminate as I am? Also, try wiping the tile with alcohol before pressing. There may be something on the tile.
is it better to place top down, not having much luck
It's best to place it face down with the paper under the sign. Be sure you didn't leave any protective film on the metal.
Where can I buy these please??
Are you wanting to buy the blanks or the completed signs? I can help you either way
@@toooldtobegaming8868 blanks please n thank you
@@MayIOwnYou JDS Industries The link I had to the ones I was using in this video doesn't work anymore, but they have a pretty large selection of sizes still. browse.jdsindustries.com/main.php?r=frontEnd&view=front&jds-category1=2&jds-category1-desc=Sublimation+Materials+%26amp%3B+Supplies&jds-category2=125&jds-category2-desc=Sublimatable+Metal+and+Sheet+Stock
@@toooldtobegaming8868 appreciate it‼️
Nice
Can this be outside? Will it wash away
Does the pic scratch at all?
Also can you lift the printed part when its cold or does it have to be hot
@@chrislewis3322 The metal signs are typically powder coated with the poly coating, so it's pretty durable. I've had better success letting the metal cool a bit before lifting away from the paper. I've had some instances where the metal wasn't fully cooled, and I could see the metal lightening where it would have been darker if I would have left it alone a little longer.
@@toooldtobegaming8868 Legend cheers
what printing paper and ink do you use ? thanks
Koala paper and Cosmos ink. Both have worked very well for me.
At what temperature, please?
400F
@@toooldtobegaming8868 Thanks so much!
What's laminate?
It's a poly coating that's typically used to protect paper. We open it up and apply it to tiles for sublimation
Qual o tipo da chapa de alumínio eu uso ? E qual a espessura da chapa devo usar . Ou se tem a chapa específico. Obrigado
How to stick it to the wall using magnet? Could you please explain that?
We use Cup Magnets and Command Strips. Stick the cup magnet to the wall with a command strip and put your picture on it. My son has several hung up in his room, and they never move.
@@toooldtobegaming8868 but how would aluminium sheet stick to magnets?
@@gauravsaini9139 These aren't aluminum. They're steel
Great demo - What size, model and MFG is your heat press. Have a crummy Chinese 16x24 that I'm looking to replace and dpin my research. Thanks!
It's the older model of this press. www.hixcorp.com/swingman25-twin
@@toooldtobegaming8868 Awesome - thanks for this info. And are you happy with it?
@@zbutcher Very happy with it. Their products and customer service are some of the best I have worked with.
@@toooldtobegaming8868 That's great to know - thanks for sharing!
man, could you just send me the metal plates to Brazil? I would pay the costs plus a percentage. If you can, call me on instagram @leonardoabreusz to negotiate.
Can you use 5ml laminate? I have a ton of that. Also can you use a circuit easy press? Love this idea
I'm sure you could with the 5ml. Just may need to press for 5 sec or so longer for the initial press to stick. The easy press should be ok. I haven't tried it personally, so I can't say for sure.
