It's been a year since we covered this poem... Time flies! I believe that's one of the best representation of this poem. Not only materialistic possessions, even time is lost and once it does, it never comes back. Nothing is permanent; childhood, school, college, youth or old age, all temporary. So instead of lamenting on what we've left behind, we should always focus on the present and "age gracefully".
