Lovely story. My dog was not well treated by his previous owner but not as badly as the wretch. that had thor initially.

I once had a cat named Sammie, back in 2012 he began waking m around 1 or 2 in the early morning with his claws, I did not know why he kept doing this, in 2013 I found I had sleep apnea, I would be asleep and would stop breathing, hearing me not breathing, he would dig me with his claws to wake me up, I believe he saved my life, for hat morning, I went to the hospital and found that my oxygen was down to 72, I owed him my life. Another time Sammie woke me up at midnight, when he did, I had to go and pee, so I got up and headed to the bathroom, near my bathroom was the door to come into my apartment, Sammie suddenly ran to the door and stared at it, he never did that before, I checked the door and found it unlocked. I locked it and did my thing and went back to bed. The next morning, my friend next to my apartment called me and asked me if I heard my door handle giggling, and I said no. She told me someone was trying to break into her apartment to steal something to sell. The person must had tried giggling my door handle and found it unlocked. "I believe Sammie must had went to the door and must had growled at the intruder and stopped person from coming in. He was my guard cat. I had Sammie for all most 14 years, and I miss him a lot!

Yes I rescued an abused lab approximately 10 years ago. He's still with me and we are happy.. Occasionally he still gets brighter by storms.. Previously he was chained outside regardless of weather.
