Book rec: All of Us Villians! It is a world with filled with magic and the deadly competition to be able to keep it. It is a duology but one of my underrated favs! Lighthearted romance/drama would be XOXO by Axie Oh. Flew through it in a day.

Ahhh I'm in a time crunch with uni deadlines, but im craving reading Twilight😂 i just want something silly & nostalgic, but i dont have any time 😅 living vicariously through this vlog😁 for book recs, sorry I dont have any romance but here are some of my general faves! Dread Nation & Deathless Divide is a duology - zombie apocalypse in alternate history, it was so cool & unique, and i loved the MC, a badass with a sense of humor, also anything by Becky Chambers, the Hunger Games still holds up, & I loved Pet & Bitter by Akwaeke Emezi, and The Honeys by Ryan La Sala was my fave book of the year when I read it!

The way you described Kingdom Hearts is how I feel about the Zelda series. It's fundamental part of my being and my values. Also, not sure if this will help, but as a reader, if I find a character hard to like because of their personality, if another character points it out, then I'm okay, knowing that it's on purpose for the story. :)

This month, my best writing has happened outside. I walk down to the lake (middle of city) and sit under a tree and write. My best day was over 2700 words 😳 but I haven't managed to replicate it yet.

Hey Becca! ❤Could you talk a little bit more about how you turned your iPad into a freewrite? Did you end up deleting any apps or turning off notifications to keep it completely distraction-free? I always think about turning my wifi off so that I'm not tempted to just scroll on social media, but then I can't have Spotify, and I prefer writing with music. 🙃

congratulations on graduating! I find writing on my ipad super helpful -- good luck on your nano goals 😄 and so excited for your live stream!

It's really useful and encouraging to watch someone else's process. I write so much more when using a notebook and pen as opposed to laptop because I can carry it everywhere and write a paragraph here and there in the "in between" moments. Then do the first edits as I type up later. All the best with your novel and love love love the idea of a writing livestream!

I got a keyboard case for my tablet for a trip a few months ago and I have loved it recently for writing. It's harder for me to be distracted on it since my headphones are usually connected to my phone already and thats an extra step. Plus I write in microsoft word/office365 in the dark theme so it's easier to focus on the writing. Congrats on your graduations!
