Where is the (x+h)^3 coming from
y is given by taking x, raising to power 3, at B, x is x+h since there’s some small change in x
Interesting! This is the first time I am hearing of hexadecimal 😅. You explain the concepts very well Calvince! And the handwriting is very neat! 👌
Thank you so much for your kind words and support.
Do we have to write the base on the answer
We have to, so that we are able to tell the difference between different number bases
must you prove or it's okay when you get the answer.
It’s not a must, but it’s the only way to know you have the right solutions
Solve for 6x+40=31x
You get 1.6

Very well articulated. Thanks
Glad it was helpful!
I find that if you move first √x to the right side ,getting √(x - 11) = 11-√x, and then square the two sides, you simplify your calculation a lot.
Good insight
Heres my thought process 1. (6+2i)(3-4i) can be simplified to 3(6+2i)-4i(6+2i) 2. 3(6+2i)-4i(6+2) = (18+6i)(-24-8i²) 3. Using foil, we get -48i³ - 288i² - 432i 4. Find the gcf, so we get -48(i² + 6i + 9) 5. Simplify again, so it's -48(i+3)(i+3) 6. Simplify once again, so it's -48(i+3)²
Here, the concept is on complex numbers where i is the root of -1, so we can only have up to i^2
You forgot to do a check! 3x+y=13, 3(5)+(-2)=13, 15-2=13, 13=13 x+2y=1, 5+2(-2)=1, 5-2(2)=1, 5-4=1, 1=1
Thank you for the observation, I will check in the next video
Yes I can, by simple examination and common sense. These are binary numbers (powers of two) meaning one of them has to be 128. That leaves twenty (20), which must be 16 + 4. 2^7 = 128 2^4 = 16 2^2 = 4 2, 4, 7 About a minute to a minute and a half. By the way that would be the binary number, 01001010.
Great mind!
Though this was from elementary algebra point of view, not Discrete
@@CalvinceOnlineMath I realize that. I used to cheat a little by counting with my fingers. I curled a finger each time I doubled the number so the curled fingers gave me the exponent. Now I just know the powers of two up to 2^10 which coincidentally is ten twenty-four (1024). I really enjoy these challenges they keep my old seventy-six (76) year old mind sharp. I first try to solve them without pencil and paper because the solutions can lead to some interesting insights. Thanks for the fun channel.
Bro voice bhot hi Kam ha Asa lagta ha ka mute ki hoa ha
Shukriya bro, main check karta hoon aur jaldi se theek karunga!
I solved this equation in about 5 minutes. a=7, b=4, c=2. First, set a as high as possible not to exceed 148, then set b as high not to exceed 148. So a=7, b=4, that's 144. Only thing left is to set c=2, so 2^2 is 4. That is: 144+4 equals 148. Simple as that, no equations necessary. This video was 15 minutes long, I solved the equation in third of the time, by just experimenting with a calculator. Elementary, my dear Watson!
Great job. We appreciate diversity.
Thanks this has helped me out
I am glad

Remember the bases were squares, so we pick a product that yield squares for us to get an integer solution.
